Vintage Handmade Pocket Compass
This brass pocket compass features a standard glass bezel with two lines at 45 degree angles. The bezel also rotates with detents so you can change the heading reference a known amount without looking at the lensatic compass. The front sight has a magnifier to simultaneously view the magnetic heading when taking a sight.

Compass simply does not spin to magnetic north. And, apparently I can return if I pay $8 to Amazon, so I lose because Amazon offering defective product. Frankly, screwed by supplier and Amazon. Gave one star only because would not accept review otherwise. would give zero stars if option.

This was a replacement for a 1945 unit..though most of the features are there.The disappointment is the thin metal used for the body and cover. The light weight metal makes it difficult opening , closing the cover.Along with moving all other attachments.

It is made out of brass, but some of the hidden internal parts are plastic and the compass broke after a few days. It looks nice though.

Recently gave this to a buddy who just lost his wife . Placed a pic of him and her , in it sort of like captain America held a pic of his love in his. It brought him to tears . The piece looks very cool .

$20? Heck yeah. Perfect to make my Captain America prop. It is the wrong color. But that ain’t no thing. Like it so much I immediately ordered another to make a prop for my Bro who is a massive marvel fan.

It is a nice replica for the cost. It is brass. It has some weight but is still very light. Compass works. I added a Peggy Carter picture to the inside just like in the marvel films. I made it removable so it can be cleaned if needed. Its a nice prop to add to any Captain America cosplay and prop displays. Added the picture of Peggy Carter I used. That way others can use.
