If you're like me, then you probably got this controller because you wanted to sync it with your Virtue Pro AR Glasses or a similar equivalent.1. You likely can't sync it with non-Virtue brand glasses (I had XReal glasses and they didn't work)2. Even with Virtue Brand glasses, you need to get the latest firmware update for it to work with the controller. You need to download neckband remote app and spacewalker app to confirm the latest firmware update. I gave this 4 stars because it required research to find this out and I'm certain the average person (looking at the 1 star reviews) does not intend to do research to use a product they bought. I agree with this sentiment, it should be clear from the get-go a firmware update is required.I almost prepared to return this item if I hadn't been able to debug that the controller does in fact have the functionality to do AR streaming but was being blocked by something I hadn't yet understood.

GLASSES NEED TO BE UPDATED ON PC!Plug everything in on my Pixel 9. Does not pass video through the controller. Check android app and it says glasses are up to date. Nothing fixes it. Plugged it into PC and updated the glasses. Started working immediately after. Was about 2 minutes away from returning.Works fantastic now.

love 8bitdo i have many of their Controllers, sadly the virtue didn't recognize my Samsung s24 ultra. had no time for a replacement im leaving on a trip and was eager to use this with my xr-glasses on the plain.might purchase again and update my review.

Controller when received did not pass image to glasses. Glasses required a firmware update to work with controller.Once that was fixed the controller is awesome. Allows for native remapping of buttons. Has integrated mouse emulation. Has passthrough charging.Doesn't not work with thick phone cases like my quad lock case but does work with standard/slim phone cases.Phone Samsung S24, glasses Viture XR pro.
