It's holding up my 85-inch TV on the ceiling with no problem. The quality is great. It was fairly easy to mount it on the ceiling with the help of one person. It looks clean. Price is fair

Functions as it should, had to shim it down 4 inches to make 70 inch tv not hit the ceiling, also slow, other than that it's worth the money.

A bit difficult to mount , ensure you have a good frame to attach it to. My electrician put it up on the ceiling . Does a good job & has impressed.

Best thing I did in my small, studio. Allows me to have art on the walls. With a Mars box you can rotate the picture. Probably some TV's have this function internally. Allows placement over the bed for viewing up, other side of room when down. Quality is nice but another remote! LoL too many remotes. I mounted a surge protector, Mars Box, Sound Bar, Slot DVD player and Amazon fire sticky to the back with zip ties. They all ride together and it's freaking awesome. Installation is slightly complicated and you need electric nearby for a clean installation.Highly recommend in white. Less obtrusive visually than a black unit, I believe

I’m absolutely thrilled with the Vivo TV Electric Ceiling Mount! The build quality is fantastic—it’s sturdy and feels very well made. Installation was straightforward, and once it was up, it made such a difference in my setup. The remote control is super convenient for adjusting the position of the TV, and I love the tilt options, which let me get the perfect viewing angle every time. It moves smoothly and quietly, and I feel confident my TV is secure. This mount really enhances the overall look and functionality of my space. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a durable, easy-to-use, and versatile ceiling mount!

We have this on our outdoor TV and it works awesome. It is a very slow rise and drop but definitely worth it for what we needed. Previously we had a manual one which posed quite a hazard dropping the TV from the ceiling. Now we just push a button and it comes down which is quite amazing with the weight of the larger TV's.

My bedroom was damaged by a leaky roof. I had to completely demo and remodel the whole room from the ground up. The room has one bedroom window, which houses an AC unit in the summer. I really wanted to have a new TV in my bedroom, but not one that was off to the corner, blocking the AC, or ultimately in the way whatsoever when we weren't watching it. I surfed the web for hours looking for something both affordable and unique I could do in the bedroom to have a TV that wasn't in the way. That's when I found this VIVO Ceiling TV mount on Amazon. As soon as I found out this existed, I had to buy it. In renovating the bedroom, I uniquely design the room to accommodate for the TV being mounted to the ceiling. I position both track lighting and recessed lighting around the room, and left a spot for the TV in the center, wiring up an electrical outlet right next to where I wanted to mount it to have the wires neatly hidden. It took me a couple months of work, but it came out great! The TV mount was all packaged very nicely with a clear set of instructions on how to install it. All theinstallation hardware was nicely packaged and organized. Installation went really well. Installation went well, and he best thing is, it came with a nice template for drilling out all the holes. One modification I made, due to the way my bedroom ceiling/framing is situated, I bought longer, heavy duty construction bolts to mount it rather than the ones it came with (they would have been too short to hit some of the beams in my ceiling). Mounting it was fairly easy. I attached the bracket to the TV, and had someone help screw it in while I held it (definitely a 2 person job for installing the actual TV). I bought a 43" TCL TV from Walmart, great, budget-friendly 4k TV's with Roku built in.It works great. It takes about a minute to fully extend or retract. Using the remote, you can set the exact angle you wanna watch TV at. The remote allows you to save to memory a couple different viewing angles you like, too. The unit only acted up one time when I first installed it, and unplugging it for a minute and replugging it fixed the issue.I love this TV mount, I just have nothing bad to say about it. I even found a clever way to mount a Nintendo Switch to the back/bottom side of the unit and TV with a couple zip ties. Overall this is a really cool thing to have in your home (or even business). If you have a unique location/place where this would work for you, I definitely recommend it! Just make sure you secure it well to the structure of your building, as it's a little heavy (even without the TV). Also be careful not to run into or bump your head into it while installing.

A close friend of mine and I both purchased this unit for similar applications... mounting a 65" TV on the ceiling of large outdoor pavilion structure built in our respective backyards. The structures have finished ceilings and roofs that completely protect the mount and the TV from the elements. Since we live in CA, the climate is mild with no extreme temperatures. The motorized mount seemed like the perfect solution to keeping the TV raised when not in use, and down when we want to watch sporting events outdoors. In the 8 months or so that we've both had the mounts installed, BOTH units have failed with the same problem -- the mount getting stuck in the up position, rendering the TV useless. My TV has been raised and lowered no more than 15 times in the time that I've owned it. My friend hired a contractor to help him remove the TV and then replace the motorized mount. Sadly, in the process, the TV cracked, but was fortunately covered by the manufacturer warranty. It was simply a GIANT hassle and LOTS of work to install a new mount.Apparently, the problem is so common that the manufacturer created a YouTube video to show users how to fix the issue (at least until it occurs a again). It requires getting up on a ladder to remove a few screws to free the belt and lower the TV, then with TWO people for any larger TV (e.g., 65" models), the TV must be removed from the mount, followed by complete removal of the ceiling mount. Finally, the belt needs to be rethreaded, followed by reinstallation of the mount and TV. It's a BIG job!Given the fact that my ceiling is close to 11 ft high, I'm probably going to opt for for freeing up the belt and keeping the TV in the down position, rather than go through all of the work and expense of taking everything down and starting over. It's extremely disappointing. As they say, "Caveat Emptor" -- buyer beware.
