Installing a jet kit in your carb is the best way to get the maximum performance and longest life out of your bike. Once you install or modify an exhaust or intake, you have put your bike into a leaner condition that will eventually destroy your engine due to heat from running lean. If you notice any popping, you are extremely lean. Our jet kit provides the parts and installation instructions to enrich all the circuits in the carb, to fix this problem, and add performance you can feel in the seat. This is a comprehensive jet kit, addressing all throttle positions, throttle response, and each kit is custom made to your bike and its modifications. Replacing just the jets does not address 1/4-3/4 throttle position, or throttle response, only full throttle. 1 KIT IS FOR THE ENTIRE BIKE, ALL CARBS ON THE BIKE. Benefits: More Peak Horse Power - (Designed to gain 6%-8% in HP with intake/exhaust, 2-3% on bone stock.) Longer Engine Life- (The jet kit is a performance upgrade that allows the engine to run cooler which increases engine component life.) Increased Performance- (Designed to improve all RPM ranges of performance and throttle response.) Lower EGT's (exhaust gas temperatures) If you have installed an aftermarket, or modified the stock exhaust or intake, this is needed or you will damage your engine. Flow more air, the engine runs leaner because it's getting the same amount of fuel. Running lean causes detonation and hotter EGT's which ruin exhaust valves and destroy engines. Kit Includes: Main Jets, Needle Adjusters, Nylon Spacers, Drill Bits for: Slide Hole Mod, Slide Spring Mod, Idle Mixture Mod, Bike Specs, Carb Schematic, Carb Synchronizer Tool (how to build for $5), Step by step instructions customized to your bike.

This is the best product I have seen for a carb rejet. Been buying and building my own kits for years. This is the absolute most complete kit that I have ever purchased. The product is great, but the information shipped with the product about "how to" is outstanding. Will definitely buy again when in need.

Needed a better choice of instructions it's like Sumone jus printed a random bike jet kit installation, bought a box of sheetrock screws, a large amount of jets and threw it all together in a few dope baggies, put it in an envelope and are shipping it as an actual genuine product.

INSTALLATION: Even though they said they would contact after purchase they did send a pretty good kit. The directions were pretty vague, and showed a generic carburetor instead of the one I was working on.PERFORMANCE: After experimenting a little I found the correct jets and mods to make my bike MEAN!!!!!!! BETTER acceleration, smoother running, and NO popping!!!

Based on my mechanic's recommendation I returned this kit uninstalled. The reason was because my mechanic explained to me that for good performance at all RPM ranges, I will need the needle valves that should have come with this kit. I didn't want to hunt for those individually, so I simply returned this kit and paid about $20 more for a name-brand kit that contains the needle valves. I cannot speak for the performance of this kit, I didn't want to go against my mechanic's wisdom, he's got 40 years experience doing this kind of work.

Similar to other reviews, I too was a bit skeptical when I first saw the package, which was a small zip lock of small parts and several pages of instructions. However, I liked the fact that the instructions had noted the specifications I provided for after market improvements for 6 Sigma to determine what jetting was needed. I also noted that there were more jets provided than needed, which I later found out were provided by 6 Sigma as an alternate in the event the initial set did not resolve my "popping" issue. I like options. I wish I could say it only took me an hour (like other reviews), but my bike has two carbs and are not easy to remove. I also struggled with the instructions at first. There were more than that just for the jetting so I looked through them all to see what all I needed and try to understand them before I started. I struggled with the diagrams and pictures provided, as they were limited and did not match up exactly with my bike. So I went on line and found other sources with more specific depictions of my exact configuration, which enabled me to understand the written instructions provided by 6 Sigma. It should be noted that I am not a motorcycle mechanic, but have worked on bikes, cars, trucks, buildings, all my life. I am mechanically inclined, but not trained. I just needed to be steered in the right direction. Once I could put the descriptions to the components, it was straight forward. I also would have been done sooner, but the bolts on one of my carbs float bowl did not want to come off and I could not afford to strip them. So I took my time soaking them with penetrant and tapping until they came off.Once I put it all back together and took it for a spin I was pleasantly surprised by the performance and complete elimination of popping. I have had this bike for years and after putting on after market upgrades have had several mechanics try to eliminate the popping with limited success. I took the bike out for a long ride after I cleaned up and now have the best throttle response and overall performance I have ever had. I must say that I am glad the first set of jets worked, as taking my bike apart and installing the alternate jets would have taken away my ability to ride the bike that day! However, I am equally pleased that I had alternate options if the first set didn't work. For those of you that may be new to the tinkering of your motorcycle, I would be cautious in taking this on yourself. If your like me and like to tinker with things, I enjoyed the work and took my time to make sure I was getting it right. Consider having spare bolts/screws on hand in case you wind up destroying them trying to take them apart.Thank you 6 Sigma for responding to all my questions in a timely manner and helping get my bike to optimum performance!

I had a lot of hesitation before buying this. Disappointed in what I received; a small bag of parts and what looked like a homemade computer pages of instructions. Since I already spent the money, I decided to go ahead and do this anyway. The whole job took a little over an hour to complete, and holy cow - what a difference! The instructions were very accurate and easy to follow. The bike runs better than it ever has, even better than after I had the dealer rebuild the carb a few years ago. No more popping, no more hesitation, no lag in throttle response at all. If I had know my bike could run this good, I would have done this years ago. Off to bike week!
