Vibrant and durable! I sent these to my students before the school year started, and I had several parents comment on them at open house! It's a great way to get students excited for the school year, and the cards were very thick so I didn't have to worry about them getting ruined in transit!

My tradition is to provide every incoming kindergartener with a welcome postcard (this) and an all-about-me poster to fill out. These postcards are fundamental in setting a warm tone for the year. Having a [n oversized] class of 27, there are plenty in this bundle to have a card for everyone and one or two backups, in case of mistakes.Teacher hack: I write one note in felt pen, no name/addressee, and copy the message -- via my printer -- onto all 27 cards. I then add the students' names to each card, fill in the address (we use our classroom as the address), and affix a homemade stamp (a replicated drawing, photo of the school, or sticker). Easy-peasy!

These are great little postcards for any teacher to use to make that awesome positive connection with families by writing a welcome card to their students and simply just putting it in their cubbies or actually mailing it out to them which is awesome.

My daughter is an early childhood teacher and is looking forward to using these for her first class. The postcards are thick cardstock and the colors are vibrant. There is just enough room to write a short welcome note to the student, and everybody loves getting real mail!
