I could finally hear myself think while driving. This unit fit my 2007 Caravan like a glove and is sooooo quite. Very easy to install. The front female flange needs a 2 1/2" clamp. The back male pipe is a 2 1/4" clamp.

Used this muffler on a 2007 Chrysler Town & Country Van 3.8 litre.Only issue was the end of the muffler was 2 1/4" and the pipe that it was going into was 2 1/2" so, I just put a sleeve on the inside of the pipe. Worked fine.

This item is advertised as an OEM direct-fit. To me that means, take out the old muffler, and put this new one in. I have worked on vehicles for 25 years, and this is always what it's meant. The vehicle is a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan. The OEM muffler in the vehicle is clamped in, not welded. I loosened the OEM clamps, pulled the old muffler out, and put in this new Walker muffler. The front inlet side mated fine, but the rear, where the muffler connects to the resonator, was the wrong size. The resonator inlet is 2.5", and the Walker pipe is 2.25". I required an adapter to get this to work, which I did. After starting the vehicle and checking for leaks, I found a leak at the inlet weld to the muffler (you can see the condensation dripping out in the picture). I contacted Walker and they said "there's nothing we can do". Isn't that great? A supposed reputable company talks to you like that? I have no choice but to fix the leak myself, but this will be certainly be the last Walker product I buy.

Ordered this as a replacement exhaust part for a van. Had the exhaust done locally, but but the muffler rotted out so had to replace it. This one went right on sounds great.

Replaced a cheap muffler. The difference was very noticeable. The old muffler was loud by comparison. This muffler is solid and reliable.
