This Walker Exhaust flexpipe with Catalytic converter is of excellent quality and performance! I saw the same exact part at my local auto parts store for just under $300!! I couldn't believe how much cheaper it was on here! The part was a perfect fit and fixed what I needed to be fixed! The part didn't come in any type of box or packaging, which was odd, rather the shipping label was attached right to the pipe, probably because it was shipped right from the Walker plant! It was kind of annoying to get off all of the adhesive residue before installing! I highly recommend and would purchase again if needed!

Part was perfect, great quality and price, but.... its not the part that needed to be replaced to fix my emissions code on my 2010 Altima 4 cylinder. It turns out there is a pre-cat on the exhaust manifold which is actually what the ECU is monitoring.Avoud my rookie mistake and ask yourself a simple question, where is the the last O2 sensor on your car? On mine it is BEFORE this catalytic converter so its impossible to monitor the output... so ot can't possibly be the cause of the P0420 code.On my Altima the upstream sensor is on the exhaust manifold ahead of the pre-cat and the downstream sensor is mounted on this pipe AHEAD of the cat itself. In the end I had to replace the manifold mounted pre-cat... which do you really need?

The quality of this is so bad I have a hard time believing Walker made it! This part replaced the stock 15 yr old converter that had 2 rust holes on top, yet somehow was quieter. I took it to the exhaust shop because I figured with no lift it was worth it. When I picked the car up I was in absolute shock as to how loud it was. I had the shop put the car back up on the hoist because I couldn’t believe that there wasn’t a hole somewhere else. Nope, this converter is just that bad. Picture a mid 90s beater running around with no muffler bad. Now I’m stuck with it. I went with Walker due to quality and am bitterly disappointed. Ruined a still mint shape 09 Altima. Now it sounds like some piece of crap running down the street the pees off the neighborhood.

I originally bought a cheap knock-off trying to save a few dollars. The knock-off looked good in the photo but was 6" short of mating up. I then purchased this one as Walker is a reasonable brand. It was a near perfect fit. The only downside is that it doesn't come with any connection hardware or gaskets. At least they're cheap and available from one of your local automotive parts stores.

I cannot tell you how doing it yourself is the best way to go. To install this fairly easy converter took about 3 hours. Now that I know everything to do it would only take me about 1 hour to install. I was told by Nissan dealership that it will cost 1700.00. I was also inform by a local muffler shop that they could do it for 900. Automotive shops are a ripoff and I feel sorry for people who do not know they can do this on there own. Put that money to something else more important. It cost me this part + 5.00 the gasket. I went to AutoZone and rented a oxygen senor socket set and it was free when I returned it. I used a little socket tool kit that I got from target to do all the work. Park works as intended and service engine light is off. Vehicle has a little more pick up power as well. Remember to take your old one to a junk yard or scrap metal because they will pay you for the old part. Not much but hey something is better than nothing.
