It was very frustrating that the applique thread was not included in this kit. It would have been very easy for the manufacturers to include it, and it was very inconvenient for me to independently solve that problem as a customer. The instructions are also poorly written compared to other kits I have bought in the past.

I'll have to get better material for the bodies of the gnomes and use fabric stiffener to properly applique the figures. Very cute idea though.

The design itself is utterly charming, featuring a mischievous gnome with an endearing expression that never fails to bring a smile to my face. This is so adorable, I actually converted it to a pillow. Today is sits on an arm chair, but it has encouraged me to adventure in making a matching quilt.It is easy to sew and tons of fun.
