This barely spits out water - it won't even allow water to flow from the top holes of the water table, which totally defeats the purpose of this. It's loud too, so just totally not worth having.

This octopus water pump fits inside my Step2 water table, but the included tube was too wide to fit through the drain hole. I had to collapse one end and force it through. While that worked, it blocked one of the sections from getting water. I plan to drill a larger hole to fix it.The pump puts out a decent amount of water, though I wish it had a bit more. I appreciate that it’s rechargeable, but the charge time is long (over 3 hours) and it needs to be recharged often, so it’s important to plan ahead. The rubber cover over the charging port is a nice touch for keeping it protected.The printed face on the octopus looks a little intense, not my favorite design, but my kids don’t seem to mind. It’s held up well so far, even after being dropped on concrete a few times, which says a lot about its durability. Overall, it’s a fun idea with some limitations to be aware of. Im still looking for a better one.

Fun for kids water table to keep the water flowing to the top once hose pipe is turned off. Easy to use even a toddler can set it up

Easy to use and larger than expected, which is a pleasant surprise. However, the pump itself is noisy Teetering on the edge of obnoxiously noisy and acceptably. And the pumping action isn’t what I hoped for. My toddler did lift it out of the water on two occasions. Both times the flow reduced, permanently.So now it’s more of a dribbling Octopus. But I expected something stronger.Still, it does accomplish its task of moving water up into our water table. But not at the rate I expected. At least it’s cute.

My kids love their water table. We get it out every year and keep it out from about May - September. This is a great addition to the table. I drilled a small hole to allow the hose to drop straight down to the water below. The octopus sits very easily on top and pulls water from the bottom allowing it to "rain" constantly. This was a super easy installation, but did require a drill and bit (which we already had on hand).The pump will also work with the hose draped over the side if you don't have a drill. However, the hose is a little bit short for that application and tends to kink because the hose drapes from the bottom of the pump.The kids absolutely loved playing with the water table before, and this pump has raised the stakes and made them enjoy it even more! I would purchase this item again!

Cute little addition to the water table to make it like something new again. I wish it had a little more pressure to put out the water, but it’s enough to keep the water flow going and entertain a 4 year old and friends. Easy to install, one quick zip with drill to create the hole for the hose, best part is not having to change out the batteries since it is rechargeable, and kids seem to start it up and wander away and forget to turn it off.
