I just moved in to a beautiful apartment, and something got stuck on the bottom of an ottoman. I moved it over the LVP and left an ugly scratch. I was horrified. Found this product and used it this morning. Followed instructions and it worked perfectly. I cannot see the scratch mark, and therefore don't have to cringe everytime I walk past it. Wonderful product.

I compared Minwax Paste Finishing Wax and WEARMAX scratch concealer to fill and conceal deep scratches in my LVP tile flooring. While the Minwax Paste can get the job done, it requires significant effort—removing excess wax, ensuring a consistent shine across the floor, and applying a wood finish marker multiple times to achieve the desired result. Instead, WEARMAX Scratch Concealer involves fewer steps and offers better adhesion for the wood finish marker. With WEARMAX, you won't need to reapply the paste or stain marker multiple times. WEARMAX makes the process quicker and easier. Highly recommend using this product and will keep it on hand at all times.

I bought this to hide scratches the contractors put in my vinyl flooring when they installed it. If you follow the directions it works to hide the scratches for the most part depending on how deep they are but be aware that it just hides the scratches, it does not remove them. Once a floor is scratched it is permanent.

We were helping my parents move out when my kids decided to pull a wooden rocking horse all over a room and scratch the vinyl! We used both the stain pens (first) then used this sealer per directions. It works great! Requires a bit of elbow grease for those bigger scratches. Overall I am pleased with this.

100% useless. Too bad I only opened to use after the return date, otherwise I would have returned for sure. This product DOES NOT WORK. I've used several over the years and this is literally the only one that did not work. It's in the trash now.

It really does work! Had new Pergo floor installed and moving in the stove accidentally scratched the "scratch proof" vinyl plank flooring, I was panicking. After seeing this recommended in a forum, I got it. Works as advertised. Per the advice in the reviews and Q&A I applied with a Q-tip waited a minute, then wiped over the excess with a rag. It got rid of the white mark pretty much immediately. I do have a darker tone flooring so it worked perfectly. I will add some pics later. But I recommend. Whole Pergo does sell a repair kit at Lowes with putty and color tints to mix and match, since the scratches were light, I opted for this since it's less trouble and mess. Very happy with this.

When I moved into my new house, the movers managed to put a 42' long scratch in my brand-new Cali Vinyl floor.I tried this on recommendation of the flooring manufacturer, but it really didn't do anything to hide the scratch (which wasn't very deep but was very visible). Fortunately, the moving company owned up to their mistake, and they repaired the floor. It took a week and was very disruptive to the entire household, so I really, really wanted this product to work for me.Other reviews indicate that it works well on dark floors, but it did nothing at all on my light oak colored flooring.

I tried using this to fix a white scratch on an LVT surface, and it did absolutely nothing. :( It actually made it worse, because now I have to buff away the shiny layer this put down before I can try to address the actual scratch.Normally I would give the benefit of the doubt and say, "Maybe I did it wrong," or "Perhaps this product works great for other surfaces," but this explicitly states it's supposed to address, and I quote,"Almost all luxury vinyl tile (LVT) floors scratch WHITE when the topcoat is pierced. The visible white line is a result of crystallization of the flooring finish."and it unfortunately did nothing of the sort. The white scratch mark is 100% as visible as it was prior to application. I even gave it a couple days to sit and think about what it's done, for good measure.Ah well. Best of luck to everyone else out there!

This was exactly what I was looking for!! It doesn’t take the scratch away but it helps blend it into the rest of the floor to the point where you can’t see it.

Like other reviews say, it won't "remove" the scratch, but it turns the scratch to be non visible. I had some major scratches in both vinyl plank flooring and tile, followed the instructions exact, and the scratches became virtually non existent, you would have to analyze very closely to find them. I AM A FAN! Only feedback is that I wish it was more cost effective but it appears so far that a little goes a long way.

Works great! I was hesitant after reading such mixed reviews, but the product does exactly what it says it will do!1. It will NOT fill a scratch in your floor. (See picture 1 of the long scratch in my flooring)2. I will absolutely get rid of the white mark and make the scratch only visible as a gouge in the floor. It's practically invisible at most angles. (See picture 2 - I only used it on half of the scratch as comparison. You can see the white marks visibly went away on the left side of the scratch!)3. It takes more product than I expected. I assumed a little glob would cover my whole scratch, but applied a few globs worth. You have to really rub it into the scratch and I went over it a few times. Be sure to wipe completely dry before applying light. I didn't notice any glossy spots by doing so.FWIW I borrowed my fishtank hood lamp to cure the solution as this was area that doesn’t get sun light. If you don't want to be able to see the gouge marks (see picture 1) this product isn't for you! You need to buy a filler product. If you want an easy solution to make your scratch less visible, this is a great product!

For deep scratches on Luxury Vinyl this product hides the white lines the scratches make. Just dab a small amount on a cloth & rub it over the scratch for an invisible fix. Doesn't fix the scratch, just eliminates the white mark on the floor.
