These are great halters. I’ve owned them for years. The rope stays stiff, doesn’t wear and fray like some halters. The clasp makes it quick to put on and take off and the halter stays stiff making it easy to place the halter over the nose. Not having to take time to tie and untie makes this my favorite halter for every day use

Really nice item and concept. Not sure why these are so expensive, as they probably cost very little to produce. I ended up buying the halter clips and putting them on less expensive halters. Really great idea, but why that price?

What I like about this halter is the ease of its release when the horse bolts when being let go in the arena. No more fighting or being lifted in the air.

Didn't know I needed this in my life until I said 'why not' and bought this. I didn't use my regular rope halter that often because frankly, I was lazy and tying it correctly was always cumbersome. This one makes life so much easier and it adjusts very easily to fit my 16h OTTB and my little 15h with a cob face. After I bought this I primarily use the rope halter for everything!

I like this halter, I received one and checked it out, it fit the young Morgan horses beautifully, received 1 of two more I ordered today and it was shipped as an Average size, not Cob size, quite disappointed. Quality of halter still good, after waiting three weeks for a Prime shipment, to get the wrong size was disappointing to say the least!

I have found the hook halter to be much easier to use especially when handling young stock who often don't have the patience to stand while tying. the hook allows you to just fasten and go and work on patience as needed. I've watched many youngsters escape during the tying process which can create more problems down the line. I understand the safety involved in having metal free halters but there is also a safety factor involved in the catch.I have tried converting the tie halters to hooks but at $8 or more for the hook alone and then the time involved in redesigning the halter it just isn't worth it. This is a well-made halter and can be adjusted fairly easily for size.

My Husband and I love these halters. I have MS and issues with hand dexterity, and these halters are SO easy and fast to get on and off. Plus, even if they are sized to fit your average to large quarter horses, they'll still fit a smaller cobb size horse well enough to use safely, so you can use these interchangeably between horses. They're very pretty, too. I get lots of compliments from friends and my Vets. I liked my first one so much that I bought a second one. The turquoise is really pretty too.
