On several occasions I've lost the cap on my Ryobi string trimmers. I also rewind the string holders, but it's a pain. This set handles both problems and the string is excellent. Great strength and already wound.

Would not buy these again. They fit my Greenworks 24 volt trimmer perfectly so I was happy about that. But I literally went through almost one whole spool trimming my yard. I bought my 24 Volt trimmer in September of 2024 and now the yard twice a month. The original spool of cord lasted until March of 2025. I just unboxed these a few days ago and went through almost one whole spool. The line kept breaking and would get worn fast. I never have to stop and extend the cord normally while I’m trimming . With the new spool I had to stop at least 15 times to remove and pull more cord out. I won’t buy this cheap stuff again.

This worked like a champ in my Greenworks single line 24v auto feed trimmer. The line was also plenty tough for routine grass weeds and the occasional brush up against hardscaping. This is .65 line. It can’t stand up to abuse. And the 24 volt single line Greenworks trimmers are not for heavy duty work. My trimmer converts to an edger. In edging mode it chews through line. Any line. I cannot believe I have been screwing around with rewinding line for the last five years when six spools of this costs $10. And it is six like the picture, not eight like the description.
