It fits my Ryobi trimmer perfectly — snapped right into place with no issues, and I was up and running in minutes.The pre-wound spools save so much time compared to winding string manually, and the twisted line design really makes a difference — it cuts cleanly through thick grass and weeds with less vibration and resistance. I noticed fewer breaks and smoother operation overall. Only drawback is I seem to go through the reels fairly quickly.

These spools and the cap fit perfectly on my ryobi trimmer. I found these to be of good quality and a good value for the money.

This is thicker line than I’ve used before. I found that it seems to last a bit longer since it doesn’t shred as fast as the thinner line. A watch out is if you have too much line out after changing the reel. If the line is extending past the knife by more than an inch, the line won’t have enough momentum for the knife to cut it. I found this line worked best when I started out with a shorter than normal amount of line coming out of the hole to start, letting the line extend further as I used it.The cap that comes with the kit fit perfectly as well, but was more rigid than the original cap. Once on, the cap was much more difficult to remove than the original. The fingers you press on the sides to release just had too much tension.

I had never heard of quick-swap trimmer refills.These disposable spools eliminate the chore of wrapping loose line on an old spool. I just drop one into my Ryobi trimmer, thread the line out to desired length and pop the new cap back on. The new cap fits tightly/precisely and I just throw the old one away (there is some plastic waste).A good value for a year’s worth of spools and line.

Well, I'm not gonna run out of weed whacker spool line any time soon! I already loaded my first spool into my Ryobi weed trimmer and it fit perfectly. I love that this came with 6 spools and a replacement cap! I desperately needed a replacement cap because mine was getting worse for wear. This one is brand new, fit perfectly, and I'll get many more years of use out of it. Thank you, Amazon Vine, for making this available! It was exactly what I was looking for.
