I installed this Weigand mount on my S&W 350 Legend X-Frame revolver and paired it with an AT3 ARO mini red dot (using an RMSC footprint on a picatinny adapter). Installation was straightforward - the only potentially tricky part is removing the factory rear sight, which involves some small parts and spring tension. Just take your time there if you're not familiar with sight removal.The mount holds the sight securely with no stability issues. The machining and finish quality are solid with no defects or rough spots. Alignment was perfect right out of the box, and it's maintained zero perfectly through firing sessions.Price-wise, it's a bit on the expensive side, but that's understandable given the niche market for quality X-Frame mounting solutions. For anyone looking to mount an optic on their S&W revolver, this is a reliable, well-made option that does exactly what it claims.Make sure to stay within the recommended 3.5oz scope weight limit as mentioned in the product description. My micro red dot setup is well under that limit and performs flawlessly with this mount.

Well made. Works well.Had it shake lose under recoil with heavy recoil and a stout optic.Used blue loctight and that stopped. The recoil lug on my optic is footprinting the front hole counter sink. Squashing it in a bit.If one ever was made of steel I would buy one.

I put this on my Smith and Wesson 460XVR and then mounted a SIG romeo 5. It’s a clean setup that really increases my accuracy on the range and in the field. I would certainly recommend and I may order another one to go on my 686.
