These are larger mirrors than most so it makes it easier to see while moving on an electric scooter. More options for installation would be better as you are somewhat limited to the thickness of the bar you can attach to.

I should have removed the end plug from my gazelle E bike handlebars before ordering. I couldn't get the mountain piece of this mirror to insert into my handlebars. The inside diameter was 15.5 MM. Perhaps I'll have better luck trying this on my beach cruiser bike, but I have a hard time believing that most handlebars have an inside diameter or larger than 17.5mm which is what the manufacturer recommends.Other than the fitment issue, this mirror seems to be well made although I am a bit leery about the skimpy rubber band that holds the expandable portion that inserts into the handlebar together.

Very useful item. I have the handle bar mount version also but it is not far out enough to easily see around me when trying to see cars behind me.

The quality doesn't seem as great as others have said. The glass wasn't connected.

This is a nice mirror that will make me feel safer when I do my simple rides in the neighborhood -- especially versus the drivers who feel the need to speed on residential streets and crowd the bike lanes.I had no trouble making it fit. I did pull off my grip first to confirm the tube size before cutting out the hole in the end of the grip. I like the sawtooth pivot to make quick adjustments or rotate the whole mirror inward when I put a dust cover on my bike. It has a sleek look versus industrial. The one downside was the mirror popping out the frame as I was installing it. Popped it back in along with the adhesive pad on the back of the glass. I put on a couple of rubber bands for my first few rides must in case.

This bike mirror comes with everything you need except directions. Nevertheless, installation is pretty simple, and you can figure out how the parts come together by looking at the pics on the website. The mirror appears to be durable and of reasonable construction. Personally, I think the mirror is a bit larger than it needs to be and, as a result, it sticks out further than the standard size mirror. Of course, the larger size allows you to see a broader picture of what's behind and beside you. If this is what you desire, then this mirror will work for you.

Much safer rides with this West Biking rear view mirror. It's a lot wider than most mirrors and its not distorted with a convex design that makes everything smaller. It was easy to install by cutting the handlebar grip and then inserting the expanding insert and tightening up on the screw. They provide both allen wrenches to tighting the handlebar insert as well as the mirror pivot screw (which I didn't have to adjust at all). The swing arm will rotate by discrete "click" settings to fold it in over the top of the handlebar. So, its easier to transport and makes the bike width back to just the width of the handlebars.Riding is safer now with the wide rear view mirror. Even on rough roads or higher speeds 28 mph, the mirror is stable. I did manage to hit the mirror on some tight trails and the arm just twisted back towards me and the mirror on the ball mount also changed angles, but it was easy to just push it back out and twist to get the best rear view again. I'm very happy with the rear view and how stable it is during the ride. Recommended.
