This is a great product especially if you are a new baker and want to branch yourself out. It has a perfect size, but I would not recomment for anything over a 2-3 layer cake. It has a easy to put together and the window top is everything! Personally, if you'd like to create a cake that will be multiple layers then you could still utilize the box (i did). I just used wooden sticks on the sides of the boxes to create "height" then wrapped it with plastic wrap. It's a great buy!

Nice set of 2 boxes and cake boards in the size of 10x10x10 cake boxes for up to an 8 inch round cake. Comes folded flat with a clear scalloped designed lid. Easy to assemble, and sturdy enough for short travels or functional just for storing and displaying a cake. Very professional bakery looking. The box is about the thickness of a poster board. With single layer cardboard cake boards in the color white. One side of the bottom box is shorter than the other, the lid covers the difference when on.

Overall, I’m pleased. This makes for a professional presentation, and I appreciate that the boxes come with the cake board. They will do the job, protect the cake, and make an excellent gift of some home baked goodness. I’m only giving four stars because the boxes are on the thin side, and two of the sides are shorter than 8”. Now, it doesn’t affect the presentation since the lid covers the short sides, but I think the boxes would be more sturdy if all the sides were equal. But, as I said, they will do the job just fine, and they are easy to assemble. That means a lot!

The bottom box isn’t very strong, kept knocking into my cake when I would pick it up. Thankfully it was an easy fix once I got to my clients house. Otherwise the window top to the box is very cute my client loved it. All together to box held together and did its job for short transport just not very strong is all.

The box worked great for a 9 inch cake. I made a 2 layer cake but there is plenty of room left for a way taller cake. Any decoration at the bottom of the cake or around the edge might rub off on the box. I would recommend a bigger box if you are doing decorations that would make the cake wider. The box was very easy to assemble by tucking the side panels into the other 2 sides. The lid just needs to be popped open.

My son loves to bake but we do not have the ideal storage space for all of the supplies that he would like. I recently got rid of my cake dish, as it took up a lot of space but was not used very often. Of course, as soon as I did that, he decided he wanted to make a cake. For the infrequent occasion that someone makes a cake, these are a great solution for us. It also allows for him to bake and transport cake easily to take to family. These would also be great around the holidays when you bake a cake. They are sturdy and the cake base circle provides a good foundation. Overall, I am very pleased with these. Prior to assembly, they store flat, which is perfect for low storage space environments. They are a good fit for layered cakes that have a little height to them.
