The technical aspects of this are great. It pairs easily, the camera works well in bright and low light, and the display is good quality. Makes it so much easier to see baby than the mirror. I've kept both camera and monitor on charger in the he car. If I forget to turn either one off , it will be dead unless it's a short stop . I've disconnected the monitor from the power and been able to hang out outside the car while baby is napping , and that seems to last as long as I need.I'm docking a star for two reasons. One, the monitor doesn't have sound, which may never be an issue anyways. The second and more important reason is that the sticky part of the monitor base did not stay attached to the top of my Dash for even a day. I'll have to figure out a different way to get this thing mounted that won't ruin my car or leave a gluey residue

The concept behind the ELZEEO wireless baby monitor for the car is genuinely great—being able to keep an eye on your child while driving, without dealing with wires, has a lot of appeal. Unfortunately, the execution leaves a lot to be desired. One of the biggest issues is how unintuitive and inconvenient the power system is. Both the camera and the monitor need to be manually turned on each time you want to use them. They don’t automatically power on when your car starts (like most dashcams and other devices), and there's no option for one device to wake the other (i.e., I can't turn on the monitor and have the camera in the back auto-wake and connect). This makes usability a hassle—especially when you're already trying to wrangle kids into the car. Forgetting to turn either device on means you won’t have a working system until everything is powered manually. And if you forget to turn them off, the internal batteries will drain since most cars cut power when turned off, potentially leaving you stuck the next time you try to use it. So, you would put your kids in the car, the battery will be dead, and there will be no power unless you started your vehicle prior. You would then need to start your car to get power and then go back to the camera to power it on.Another major concern is the camera’s weight. Likely due to the built-in battery, it’s heavier than expected. Mounting it near a child poses a real safety risk—in the event of an accident, it could easily become a heavy projectile that could cause injury. The display quality also disappoints. The screen is grainy and dim, and not particularly clear. I would never guess this is 1080 resolution based on what is displayed. On top of that, the button layout and menu navigation are confusing. I find myself going back to the manual just to figure out how to adjust basic settings. Maybe it gets easier over time, but out of the box, it feels unnecessarily complicated. That said, this system might have more value in non-vehicle settings. For mobile monitoring—such as in a hotel room, travel setup, or even around the house—where you can keep the units consistently plugged in and within reach, it would probably function much more reliably. In those use cases, the manual powering isn't nearly as inconvenient, and the heavier camera isn't a safety hazard if it’s just sitting on a shelf. All in all, while the idea of this product is smart and potentially very useful, the current version falls short in terms of practicality, usability, and safety—at least for car use. With some serious refinements, this could become a great tool for parents. As it stands now, I can’t recommend it for its intended in-car use, though it may still serve a purpose in more stationary situations.

I’m going to give this 5 stars because at $82, this is fantastic. Yes, the screen is not iPhone quality. Yes the night vision isn’t iPhone quality. Yes the camera is big and heavy, because it’s mostly battery which I’m grateful for on long trips or extended usage. One reviewer said the camera, because of its weight, was a safety hazard in a car accident. I would say that the other car is a bigger safety hazard and I cannot imagine this being what injures a child in an accident.Again, for $82 this is a fantastic solution to monitoring your baby or even keeping an eye on anything. For the price, it does what it’s supposed to do. And, unlike an iPhone or a WiFi connected device, this isn’t collecting info on you. There’s no app so there’s no data to take. It has basic functionality a great system for securing it in your vehicle. It does the basics and you’ll be paying a very reasonable price.

Easy to install! No more cords. I used to use mirror to watch my baby when I am driving, but this one is much better. Clear monitor and easy to use. Very nice car camera.

Pros:The Elzeeo Wireless Baby Car Camera is an innovative solution for monitoring your baby while on the go. With 1080P resolution and advanced night vision capabilities, it provides clear visibility day and night. The camera features a long-lasting battery, offering up to 32 hours of runtime on a single charge, which is perfect for long trips. Its wireless design eliminates the need for Wi-Fi, making setup quick and straightforward. The adjustable angle allows for optimal positioning, and the built-in video recording function is a great bonus for capturing precious moments.Cons:However, some users have raised concerns about the camera's size and weight, noting that it may be cumbersome to position securely in a vehicle. Additionally, the need to manually turn the camera and monitor on and off can be inconvenient during multiple stops. While the night vision works well, some users have reported that it could be improved in very low-light conditions. Lastly, the price may be considered high compared to simpler alternatives. Does not have inverted function.

This camera is just what we needed to watch our new baby and older son. The recording feature is memorable, and it has many components that make this camera the perfect choice out of so many others in this category. I appreciate the long battery life and that I can easily focus on one child or both. It's come in handy since I can't fit in the back with them and I can see what they need and prepare before a meltdown. I'm so glad we got this camera!
