I think Wix XP filters are the best on the market. The filter material catches almost all contaminants, fits perfectly, built well, super easy to install, and is cheaper than a lot of competitorsI will always choose Wix when buying any kind of filter

I put this one on my truck, I wish they made these in a higher capacity since there is nothing in the way down there, and very little risk of it getting damaged.The comparisons and reviews I've read claim this is a good brand, and it arrived quickly.

Wix is a high quality filter, all my vehicles are well over 100k miles with no issues. No issues with AFM using WIX and Valvoline synthetic- changing oil every 5k.

Using this particular filter with Mobil 1. It exceeds the filtration capabilities of a mobile one filter. I also run Wix on my vehicles that run Amsoil as it filters better than their filters. Also beats out K&N filters.

Do a youtube search of oil filter teardown comparisons. You will be shocked at the huge difference between top quality filters like Wix, and the junk sold by companies like Fram. The three main differences are: Quality filters use a lot more filter medium so there is more surface area that your oil passes through Quality filters use stamped steel bracing while cheap ones use cardboard; and, quality filters have silicon bypass valves in case the filter gets clogged while cheap ones use rubber which can degrade due the presence of oil.You can never go wrong with Wix. That's why many shops that do fleet maintenance only use it.
