When you pull out the wands and think that there's no way they are pencils, that's ok. Pull off the handle! We couldn't figure out how they were pencils but they magically transformed. This is a great party favor pack that can host 12-24 guests easily. for 12 guests we would give them both a wand and a broom, for 24 they would get one or the other. Everything is included down to the bag that the favors go in. I highly recommend this. You could add treats or other trinkets if you really wanted to, but it's not necessary.

I got this wizard set for use at my daughter’s birthday party. She took a great interest in the books this past year so she was excited to bring the wizarding world to life for her birthday. This set looked like a good way to supplement some other favors I’ve already pulled together. The items included look good generally. They definitely match the vibe. The glasses are made from a nice thick plastic. The arms can be folded in to save space and as stated in the listing, there are no lenses. My daughter is turning 8 and found them to be a little tight, so they might be on the small side for older kids, but I tried them on myself and only found the tightness to be mildly uncomfortable. Since it’s just something the kids will run around with to amuse themselves for a short period I think it’ll be fine. The wands are pencils; the handles are lids which conceal the pencils’ points. They have a good, uniform coloring and the handles fit snugly over the pencils. There are 12 wand pencils and 12 broomstick pencils. I’ll admit I’m not a fan of the broomsticks after seeing them in person. There were loose bristles in a few pencils, which came out very easily. They all had some kind of fuzzy grain-like seeds all over, which were falling off so easily I ended up just using a stiff brush to try to remove as much of them as possible. The broomstick wands also have small caps over the pencil points, though these are just a white semi-transparent plastic. The tattoos are on perforated sheets to make them easier to separate. I’ll note that the protective film over the top isn’t particularly secure, so it comes loose frequently. However, it’s easy to press it back into place. I’ll be putting the tattoos in a pinata so I ended up just putting each one in a small zip top bag to ensure the top film stays in place. I would also have preferred if they provided instructions on the back of each section; there are no instructions provided for how to transfer the tattoos.I love the look of the little drawstring bags, but I’m not sure if they’ll be much use in my case since I plan to give the kids a few other little trinkets to go with the items from this set. Both pencil types stick out of the bag. You could add another couple of small items if you decide to use them. The drawstrings work smoothly, both for opening and closing the bags.Overall this is a helpful set to help kids get into the spirit during a wizarding-themed party. I would have liked to see the broom bristles be a little more secure and not riddled with fuzzy little grains, but I’m sure the kids will enjoy everything included.

These are some cute Harry Potter inspired party favors. I think the lightning bolts would have made more sense if they were black, not red. The broom and wand were too tall for the organza bag that came with. They can hang out the top but if you wanted them all tucked in nicely, that won’t happen. All materials seem sturdy. The glasses were a little on the small side for my 8 year old but sturdy enough that when put on, they didn’t break as they bent to fit her face.

The wizard-themed party favor set offers a fun and creative touch to any magical celebration. The standout pieces, broomstick and wand pencils, I would suggest incorporating a scavenger hunt or puzzle activity to help kids put their new pencils to use right away, something you can get them to do all at once to get some pictures. The round glasses are a perfect addition, instantly transforming little partygoers into apprentice wizards. While the kit succeeds in bringing an imaginative flair to the table, it does leave something to be desired in terms of practicality and entertainment value. One notable drawback is the size of the favor bags. While they look great and fit the theme, their small design makes it difficult to include additional goodies beyond what’s provided. Ideally, the bags should be large enough to fully contain the pencils, ensuring easier transport and preventing wands and brooms from falling out. As it stands, the limited space means that party hosts might need to find alternative packaging if they want to enhance the experience with more favors.Overall, while this kit is okay, it doesn’t offer enough variety to truly engage children. With just glasses, a broomstick or wand, a temporary tattoo, and a small bag, the contents feel sparse. A more robust selection of favors, perhaps themed stickers, small puzzles, or even miniature spell cards, would elevate the experience and make it more memorable. This kit provides a charming foundation, but it could benefit from a few more elements to ensure a truly magical and entertaining celebration.
