I believe the core is Thestral hair but I can't be certain. I've been able to cast several successful spells with it. I'm sure it'll serve me well for my tenure at Hogwarts but only time will tell. It's well balanced and has a satisfying weight. I dropped in on the floor and accidently turned my dog into a cat, but I can't blame the wand for that.

Excellent wand to go with a Professor Snape Costume. The wand is well made and of good quality. I highly recommend it. It comes with a keychain as well as little paper of instructions on how to wave the wand for each HP spell. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I think it's very nice, good quality paint is nice it's amazing i love it so pretty the size is good (14 inches)and very simalure to the real harry potter wands and i think it's good matirial and $17 i mean others are like 30 to 40 dollars and it's only thing that's missing is real magic but the keychain is super nice and spell's you can make just 5 stars hands down! Love it so much

This was so much better than I expected for the price! It's very heavy and looks great. The small keychain was bent fairly easily, but the wand won't bend with regular use.

Estuve investigando varias marcas, viendo modelos y leyendo reseñas, y opté por ésta a pesar de no conocer la marca y no me arrepiento. Es de excelente calidad (tiene uno q otro detalle pero nada que me moleste). El peso de la varita es perfecto; no hay forma de describirlo, hasta que la levantas y dices: sí, es perfecta. El empaque es el mismo para los diferentes modelos pero viene un hule espuma forrado donde se acomoda la varita. El detalle del llavero es excelente. La súper recomiendo. Compré 5 modelos diferentes y están geniales cada uno.
