This Tuckernuck dupe is gorgeous and well made. I’m 5’2” and the Small fit great, it hit above my ankles. Flattering shape and beautiful quality fabric. I’m returning only bc the color is more mustard than yellow, and the white more cream than white. Just not the sunshiny look I wanted. I may order in the blue stripe.

I do truly believe this is an adorable, modest, on-trend (currently) dress; however, with it being a very cute dress & style all on its own it might just be a better fashion choice for another lady out there. I have no qualms with this dress aesthetically so much as I may have with its unique cut (lends toward tall/slender body types for reasons soon to be disclosed). I’ll start first with covering an accurate experience with the dress’ structure & fabric composition. I do believe this garment is made with a woven polyester so do expect a firm, not very breathable/body heat retaining fabric that’s not so much rigid as it is without elasticity. So do not be caught off guard when I say that between the fabric (think of a windbreaker material-shower curtain hybrid fabric) which is a bit unusual though not scratchy against the skin, but it simply does not have much breathability, elasticity or “flow”. Definitely a bit an issue for gals that would need some forgiveness if they do not have a slender/petite body type, & given the non-elastic nature of this dress I must mention the same rings true not just for the abdominal areas but the bust areas as well. I am not a crazy, large chested lady (my dress seen in picture is a size M & I am a chest size 36-38C-D) but I do have quite a lot of compression & the overall feel that the bust is best suited to chests of perhaps A-B sizes making anything larger giving a less than comfortable overall feel. The stripes are complimentary in terms of the vertical direction they have, but as mentioned prior with the fit being more for more slender/petite body types- if you have hips or are “hippy” you might want to sit this one out or up-size by 1-2 sizes to allow for a looser fit/look (may result in dress just appearing simply too big & boxy, truth be told). I have to also say as novel of an idea pockets are on a dress, unless you have it fitting loose in the hip area you are setting yourself up to attain a maximum hip & body width look (for me, that’s just not a good look)- this also becomes a bit of a disaster in combination with the fact the fabric doesn’t flow or have any give. To the wearer & likely observer, the dress will just hit heavy on the hip with those pockets & stripes, & not truly highlight or compliment the positive aspects of most body types. The length is very modest on me at 5’5, making this great for any occasion including church or otherwise in places where modesty is ideal. The color is a lovely & traditional pale cornflower blue stripe on a white background giving a lovely subdued contrast that’s pleasing to the eye. I would strictly count on this dress fitting perfectly & true to size if you are petite & slender, & if you don’t fit that criteria I suggest highly consulting the size guide in tandem with measuring yourself accurately so that if need be, you can get the best possible fit in the event you need to size up & or make your best judgements accordingly.

Beautiful dress, very similar to a much more expensive brand. Love the simplicity and the fabric. I did find the dress to not have much stretch. Sizing up one size to get a little more comfortable fit in shoulder and arms. This will be a summer favorite.
