Well made and sparkly! I love this to dress up more basic outfits with a retro glam sparkle, and it's nice to add some modesty if your neckline is a bit too low in front or back.

2025/06 — This shawl by Rryio is advertised on Amazon as a “1920s Great Gatsby” costume piece. Well I think that cheapens the craftsmanship — and all the love — that went into designing a shawl fit for ANY formal event, such as Opera or Broadway Playhouse. It is the kind of accessory NOT ONLY suited to an LBD (Little Black Dress) but something entirely the reverse: I’m going to wear it over something IVORY where the workmanship can be well and truly ADMIRED by everyone who sees it! And before I forget, I got the ‘BLACK SILVER’ color.This fichu by Rryio is the kind of delicate piece that you hand down to your daughter, and she, hers. The GORGEOUS piece was made by hands that truly loved their work! SILVER SEQUINS are placed throughout the shawl in various arrangements and patterns and — as if building a constellation — small SILVER ‘BEADS’ and ‘TIPS’ are sewn directly into the netting that forms the body of this gossamer shawl. These delicately appointed silver accents appear as ‘ribbons’ but they are in fact tiny accents sewn into the netting in the _shape_ of ribbons. No seam goes to waste in this stunning piece! If there is an opportunity to create a SHAPE or PATTERN in the shawl IT IS USED!I can’t believe the price!! Where else can you get this level of CRAFTSMANSHIP for $14.99?!! If you’re just thinking about it be decisive! You can certainly wear this with your LBD but think also about pairing it with Ivory or White. It’s the kind of accessory that will garner endless compliments I assure you. NO ONE ELSE HAS ANYTHING LIKE IT! And finally, you can use it as a costume piece of course, just please don’t pigeonhole it in a little-used corner of your closet. I love the old school semi gothic or beautiful 20's looking clothing. This seems relatively well made and beaded. I do want to say I have only worn it twice so I am unsure of how well it holds up over time. But while I wore it with a dress I had no sequins or other things fall off.Overall I love the look and at ads some elegance to a night out or for pictures or whatnot. I am just in love with I! There is one thing I hqve a problem with, however, the clasp to connect each side together is very hard to see. And also somewhat difficult to connect as I had to pull at the metal of one part to make it connect properly. If for that one issue I would give it five stars.

Pretty, delicate, and sparkly. This shawl is lightweight with a nice drape and weight. It stays in place without being too heavy. It will not keep you warm, but will certainly add some bling. There were a few loose threads that needed to be snipped off, but other than that, it is as described.
