Although the calf is wide the shaft is very narrow, so if you have wide calves and ankles this is not a comfortable fit at all.

I have never been a boot person mostly because my calves are wide and finding tall boots is impossible!! I went out on a whim because I needed some dressy church boots. When I tried them on, I couldn’t believe they zipped easily & perfectly!! If you need a wide calf boot, you have found it!!

Do not order these boots if you have wide calves. They are for women with extra-large calves.

Finally boots that actually fit.When I was younger I was very athletic. I was in the gym often and my calf muscles were very defined. Sadly, teenage style boots never fit my calves because of this.Fast Forward 30+ years, my once very muscular calves are now middle aged calves. My calf muscles have turned to mush over muscle – so they are even bigger than before.This has left me with very large calves that demand wide calf boots. Finding boots is nearly impossible.I was very happy to find these boots. These boots fit and there is even more room left over.I have screws in my right foot due to a bad fracture of my fifth metatarsal. I have to be careful of heels and shoes with arches. So far, these boots have not aggravated the part of my foot with the screws.These are a nice chocolate brown color that match a variety of outfits. These are not extra wide calf. There is no stretch.

I absolutely love these boots! They’re exactly what I’ve been looking for and having a wide calf makes it hard to find knee high boots that fit properly. Would definitely buy them again.

These do have a nice fit for wider calfs, they stretch for a fitted look. Heel is a little high for me, and the inside foot liner bunched up when worn for a few hours.
