I have ordered this dress twice at different times and in 2 different colors (guess I'm a glutant for punishment). Although it's so cute in the pictures, it comes from China and just never arrives. Amazon - be warned. This company is a sham!!

This dress is so much fun - it is light and pretty and easy to put on and go out with -- without being too formal. I live in a really hot climate anyway and so the summer has been really intense and we are only in early June. I do not need a tailored, high-end dress for going out and about -- or being in the house -- or going to the beach or just out for a meal. This is a casual dress, but when I arrived I was surprised at the detailing. On the style that I bought the sleeves and the hem are both ruffled just slightly so there is some swing to the dress. It is very soft also. I feel like - given the range of designs and colors - and the reasonable price, that the designers are providing a mood and an experience as much as a piece of clothing. At the risk of oversharing I also have to say that I am not very tall I'm 5'4" and the length is perfect for me where as many sundresses seem to go down to the ankles.... I also don't wear tank tops very well or spaghetti straps and this gives me a little coverage on my upper arms. I often wear a medium but the seller notes that we should buy a little bit larger and I did that and it worked out really well. Since the version I bought is wraparound I could adjust it as needed. As someone mentioned in another review it is not too low so this means I don't have to wear a top underneath it or sew in my own snap to hold it together up top. Also it may be the larger size, but I find when I wrap it around that I can walk and there could be a wind and I'm not constantly trying to adjust it so it stays closed. This is probably one of the longer reviews I've done but I came back to by a second dress and I know that the reviews were mixed and I wasn't sure what to do when I first considered buying it. But I went with it and I'm glad I did. I got drawn into reading the other reviews again and I wanted to share my experience, too.

The fabric of this dress was very nice as well as the color But the construction of the dress was not the best. Seams are not cut straight. A good thing I am a seamstress, because I had to remake the entire dress. I ordered a small which should have fit according to the Size Chart. I had to take in the sides in the bodice, the armholes of the sleeves so it didn't hang off my shoulders and also had to raise the waistline seam so that the dress fell correctly at my waist instead of below my waist and the hem would hang correctly. The dress and sleeve hems were just surged so I had to hem both the dress and the sleeves. Also, all of the seams were sewn with a basting stich so that seams were not tightly sewn. I know the dress only cost $10 plus tax, but the shipping was also $10 so I would have lost $10 if I shipped it back. So it was better for me to alter the dress to fit and be wearable then to loose $10 in shipping costs. Wouldn't buy from this seller, again.

I thought this was a petite. It’s not and the hem is very uneven. I am a 12-14 and ordered an xxL. Hope I can exchange for one that doesn’t need rehemming!

I ordered my recommended size of XL and like the other four dresses I ordered from this company they hang like bags as they are way too big. Also, they hang much differently than they look on the website.I was going to return like I did the others but I had to pay $6.65 postage to get it, only to be disappointed again. Return the postage due and return fees it will add up to more than the cost of the dress so I will donate in hopes that can get some use of it.
