It's pretty, it's comfortable, and it's easy to put on and take off. It has effective boning on each side of the torso from the waist up, to keep the top from rolling down.I liked the looks of it a lot until I put it on and realized it just doesn't have that much hold. If you're looking for comfort in an undergarment that can do some smoothing and look attractive doing it, this is a good choice. But if you want to minimize a c-section pooch or fit into those too-tight jeans, this is probably not the shapewear for that.Just to be sure I wasn't imagining its lack of effectiveness, I compared it to another high-waist shaper I have that looks very similar to this one. It confirmed my impression that my old one does a much better job than this new one. It's just as lightweight, but seems to have more compression power. I also noticed that my other one has a cotton-lined crotch, which I prefer.I ordered the XL based on their size chart, which says XL is equivalent to US size 8-10. I'm usually a 10 so didn't think I should go smaller. But maybe if I had gone with a Large instead of the XL, it would have had more slimming power, I don't know.The photos below show the garment inside and out. The inside of the front has three black dots attached to the fabric. I have no idea what they're for or what they do. The lace around the legs is nice and flat with no stitched edges to show under clothing.Overall, it's a nice garment. It just doesn't seem to be that great at slimming. However, it's currently offering an almost 50% off coupon, so it could be worth taking a chance on it; see how it works for you.

I've purchased half a dozen types of shapewear to conceal bulges for dressy occasions when I'll wear clothing that would otherwise reveal my flaws. I'm not 100% satisfied with any of my previous shapewear purchases and am very dissatisfied with some. This item seems to be pretty close to perfect based during the initial try-on.One feature I noticed that's different here is the waist band. It's very thick material and will not roll, which is a huge problem with most shapewear. Most is made with thinner material that rolls over, and then my own rolls spill onto the waist band roll. Hideous. But I'm fairly certain that his waist band will never roll.Having said that, the waist band might be too thick. It rests just below the bottom of the ribcage, but I don't know yet whether or not it will be visible through slinky material.I like the fact that there is no elastic squeeze at the top of the legs. It isn't tight, so it doesn't create leg bulges. Also, despite it being a very snug fit, it isn't crushing me. I don't feel like I'm suffocating in it. So far, it seems to be near perfect.

I'm 5'2", 155lbs, with a tummy ...I ordered large and it technically fits, but the seam between the lace butt and the waistband cuts into me across the top of my butt, so I cannot wear a body on dress because it looks like my butt is cut in half, and the lace bunches around the top of my thighs. I had high hopes for this one and I'm actually disappointed.

I notice a slight tear on the side where it’s sewn. The thread was out and made a hole. Other than that, this fits me nicely and I notice some change in my tummy. Flatten out slightly and quite comfortable in my tummy area. The buttock and thigh area was a bit more fitting on me so a bit tight. The lace and fabric is soft to the touch and comfortable on my skin. The sides has steel bones so it doesn’t roll down on you. Helps keep the girdle staying up. If the lace bottom part is more stretchable, then my legs and thigh would feel more comfortable. The tummy part fits well, just not the bottom part for me. It could be because of my pair body shape. I have a bigger bottom and thighs. Overall this does the job but comfort is decent, not that great. Again I think it just depends on everyone’s body shape.

Manufacturer sizing chart is off. Ordered as per their chart and I have a very nice piece of Shapewear that is 1-2 sizes too large with no compression on me so I can’t use them.I will probably find someone who can wear these as they are really high quality Shapewear.*** Hope Manufacturer fixes Size Chart ***Back to review:These are high end, high quality material with an outer compression material and inner wicking material to keep you feeling comfortable and dry while you are wearing them.The lace along the bottom is stylish and gives these a flair not often seen in Shapewear.The workmanship is excellent as I see no loose threads or uneven seams.The price point is good for high quality Shapewear.I do highly recommended these even though I took a star off for the inaccurate sizing chart.Order a size down.

Okay, so I finally tried these high-waisted shapewear shorts, and they're actually pretty great! They do exactly what they promise – they smooth everything out around the tummy and waist, and give a nice little lift where you want it. I was worried they'd be super uncomfortable, but they're surprisingly wearable, and the lace detail makes them feel a bit less utilitarian. They definitely help my clothes lay better and give me a smoother silhouette, which is exactly what I was looking for. If you want a little extra confidence under your outfits, these are a solid choice.-Wife
