The freedom my toes have to spread out in these barefoot shoes took a few days to grow accustomed to, but now that I have, I like them so much I don't know if I can go back to wearing regular sneakers. The way they look on my feet, particularly how they flair out a bit in the area of the toes...kind of like mini clown shoes... also took a while to grow on me, but now I think they're kind of cute. In my opinion these shoes fit true to size in the length.

I realize that these shoes are described as "wide toe" walking shoes, but the toe is so wide that they look like clown shoes on me. The toe box is rounded out so much that it looks out of proportion to the rest of the shoe. Not only is it wide from side to side, but there is a lot of space between the bottom of the toe box and the top, making for a baggy fit. I ordered my usual size, but they were also too long for me. I was disappointed because the color is a great pink, and they are comfortable and cute in other respects. I generally need a wide shoe, but this shoe is just way too wide. Unless your toes are super wide compared to the rest of your foot, I don't think these shoes are designed very well for the average person wanting a wider toe box.

I wasn't sure how I was gonna feel about these. I actually got them for a trip that we were taking to Maine. Unfortunately they did not arrive in time. They did arrive the day before we got back. So well, didn't get to try them out at the national park and lighthouses I have now spent two weeks using them since they came in and I got back. And they are interestingly comfortable. I'm not really sure how to put words because it's the wider toebox which allows your feet to spread out and it's really nice. I have toe shoes that I love and I also prefer to go around barefoot if I'm not in toe shoes. I feel like this is kind of sort of the best of both worlds... maybe. I'd have to see how they would do on long walks and what not. I'm gonna wear them when we go to the theme parks in Orlando and kind of see so if they turn out well there, I will be sold. Right now, honestly just wearing them to the grocery store and basic every day things, they're really comfortable. So if you just do regular every day things, these are really nice and I recommend them I can't imagine them not being comfortable for walking around a concrete jungle that is a theme park. If they fail me, then I will be back to update this review. But if I don't update this review, then know that it went really well. I'm very OCD about updating my reviews of something changes. Thus far, my expectations have been exceeded. And I would recommend these.

The rosy color blends and coordinates well with a lot of items in my Spring/Summer wardrobe. I am really loving the comfort these shoes offer especially in the toe area. I wear a lot of flip/flops, sandals, and open toed shoes during warmer months because I hate for my feet to be hot and constricted. The design of this shoes is so comfortable as the toe box really lets my toes spread out with no cramping or constriction. It took a bit of adjustment to get the lacing at the point where they are tied enough to be secure yet loose enough to allow easy slip on and off. The shoes have a removeable insert that provides a bit of support at the arch while still allowing. the comfortable feel of a barefoot shoe. The lack of heel takes some getting use to, but it's definitely not an uncomfortable feel. I usually wear a 7 and these shoes are spot on size wise. I can find nothing on the product page about these shoes being machine washable, but from the look of them compared to other shoes that I wash regularly, I am assuming they'll do fine. With the pink color, I know they will need a bath from time to time to keep their pristine look. I always use shoe bags in the washing machine and do a lot of precleaning in the laundry sink with stain removers and such and always remove inserts and wash them separately. The soles pick up a lot of debris, especially in damp weather so I spend a bit of time wiping the soles before coming inside. The price on this is not unreasonable compaired to other similar shoes I've seen.

If you have wide feet you will LOVE these. As a backstory, I have very difficult to fit feet--women's 6.5 XW. I usually buy a size 7-7.5 in women's wide shoes since they are almost never wide enough for me in my true length size--so they end up too long, but just barely wide enough and not a great fit. I followed the size directions for this product (meausring on paper from wall to big toe--and the suggested size for my foot length measurement was to order a 6.5 so that is what I ordered and Bingo--it's a GREAT FIT. They are the perfect length with about a finger width to spare from where my big toe ends to where front of shoe is. Best of all, they are PLENTY wide--like a true barefoot shoe--so my feet can spread out comfortably with roomy toe box. I found them even more comfy by not using the highest lace holes (it was a little pinchey on the top of my foot when laced all the way up)--and they are much more comfy for my particular foot with one less row of laces. I can also actually slip them on and off without re-tying this way--so I love that bonus convenience. The edge of the tongue is strangely a bit hard/almost "sharp" feeling so I would not recommend wearing these without socks. WIth socks, they are just so comfy, if you like a zero drop barefoot type shoe experience, that I cannot say enough good things.These are definite keepers--very light weight and breathable as a summer shoe. Not good in puddles--not at all leak resistant. But just wear then and love them on dry days!! 10/10 recommend for folks with WIDE feet!
