i BOUGHT this for a briggs & stratton Quantum 6.0 hp engine on my pressure washer.Checked the engine numebr and matched the "engine list " on the site. The design of the metal housing is about 1/8 inch wider across than the original. The mounting holes align fine. However, the tapering of the housing from top to the engine surface is "fatter" and more rounded than the original as it goes further down toward the engine. Therefore there is no room for the plastic pressure washer housing to slide under the housing. This angle and size difference required trimming all the mounting tabs on the pressure washer shroud. Once this was fixed, the original mounting bolts didn't have enough clearance for the nut driver to get them to seat. Had to take a punch and make an indention 1/4 inch deep at each mounting point on the housing. Once all done. It fit, and works fine. For the price, it was worth the extra work, but took about half hour to accomplish all these modifications.
