These look nice but after a month they crack and break apart from the water and soap residue. They are soap holders and should be able to handle the soap and water! I would not buy again !I would like to take this opportunity to update my review. The product did split in less than a month and was not able to be used anymore. I went onto my Amazon account and saw I was past the refund date. I wrote a review to let other people know the issues I had to prevent them from having the same issues. I stated I would not buy this product again. Much to my surprise I instantly received an email from the seller. Keep in mind I never asked for a refund of any sort since i was past the 30 day Amazon refund policy. I just wrote the review and called it good. However, the seller contacted me the very next day and offered me a full refund for the defective product. I simply had to reply to the email with two words stating "full refund" and the next thing I knew I had an email saying my refund had been approved and I would have it within 10 business days! The very next day I had the full refund sitting in my bank account!!! I want to say I am thoroughly impressed with the seller and the way they handled the situation!! Without even being asked they made things right!! Things happen products are defective it's just how it goes but to find such amazing customer service in this day and age is shocking to me! I will buy from this company again if for no other reason than to support their exceptional customer service support. I'm thoroughly impressed!!! Thank you, for doing the right thing!!!

These soap dishes look very neat, in a country rustic chic sense. They have a prominent wood grain highlighted by some strategic charring. They're lightweight and fairly shallow, but will hold a soap bar up out of a puddle, and if placed on a slanted sink rim, they'll allow excess water to drain. I wanted to like them!Sadly, these are not made of single and solid pieces of wood. Instead, they're assembled from multiple planks of mismatched wood, so the grain is very obviously inconsistent, pointing out where the joint is. Even worse, they're put together with glue, not wood joinery. GLUE. What do we use to break down wood glue? Soap, and water. What will these dishes hold? Soap, and water. Don't expect these to hold up unless you drown them in some kind of urethane waterproofing treatment (which sorta defeats the purpose of having natural wood soap dishes, doesn't it?) because over time, that glue fails and the pieces split apart. In summary--nice idea, poor execution. I'm only giving it 3 stars because the price is low enough that you can afford to treat these as disposable.

I have been collecting homemade soaps at Estate Sales, and local markets for years and just seem to store them and not use them since they deteriorate quickly in a normal soap dish that keeps it wet. These lightweight and practical wood dishes are excellent in solving this problem. They are small enough not to take up so much space, but large enough for most homemade soaps sold today. They are attractive and the 3 packs makes owning them affordable.

I have been using this wooden soap stand in my household for almost around a month now. cleaning it of soap scum is easy! Just use an old tooth brush. Quality seems to be good and sturdy. I would definetly recommend it to anyone who is looking for wooden accent accessories in their bathroom.

These wooden soap holders are very handsome, and seem to work for the most part. I took a star away for the fact that if they aren't sitting absolutely flat they don't always drain the water. Which ultimately defeats their purpose. They're lightweight and don't take up unnecessary space around the sinks and i appreciate that. They're not difficult to clean but as I said, if they're not 100% flat they don't drain. So then the soap gets soft and then ends up accumulating in the grooves which makes the draining even worse. I may end up using my dremel just to increase the slope of the grooves and possibly a sander to the bottom to create a slight slope to the base. Over all I'm still happy I got them. The value was excellent and they're really nicely made despite not having the appropriate angle to be 100% effective. But I can fix that in a matter of a few minutes.
