This patented design increases edging life up to 25-percent compared to normal use conditions. This patented resin line is softer allowing for the line to stretch and cushion on impact with hard surfaces. It has over 100 lbs of tensil strength compared to old lines that only offer 68 lbs of strength. DNA2 trimmer line is durable and flexible for longer life.

This is NOT 2 PACK. It is 1 spool only with 2 lines. The description of the product is completely wrong.

Don’t bother purchasing this item, only if you have lots of time on your hands & didn’t mind having to take it apart every few feet or inches of use. The Worx trimmer that uses this spool the twine fuses together all the time when using. I am done with this Worx item. This spool is over priced too, you can it it at Lowe’s in a 2 pack cheaper then what they are charging for 1 here. Yup this Is going in garbage and next spring will purchase some other brand. Either figure out what you did wrong in your design for the spool or keep getting more unhappy customers.

Pros:-A full spool for less than $10-Dual string-Doesn't break & fly out-Has little notches to hold string so it doesn’t all uncoil on you.Cons:-I manually feed the string so every time string gets too short I have stop, take off, get string out & put back on trimmer.-If gets too hot a small part of string can stick to one another on the spool but doesn’t happen often but worth a mention.Overall I like its straight out of packaging & into trimmer in seconds. The first time I edged my yard in 2-3years I went thru an entire spool in 1 day. Disappointing...BUT, if you keep up with it & have your little groove beside driveway & grass then after that it’s a breeze and don’t use much string. So if you regularly have a touch trimming job to handle find another string, if every Saturday mower then you’ll be fine.

Worx double decker or DNA spool often gets listed as two spools per pack. In actuality, the spool has cutting line wrapped half on top and half on bottom. The respective ends get threaded through holes on opposite sides of the weed eater. It takes a little effort to prevent loosened string from jamming the sides of the spool holder when installing. What's worse is letting the string wear down from cutting near wood and rock then having to rethread with less string and less tension. I avoid this by checking string more often when it's in contact with hard surfaces. Dirt doesn't wear it down, btw. The bad point now gets to a good feature. When just trimming grass and weeds without hard stems, the string will last forever. Which means if you're on your last spool, you could get most of the job finished by avoiding hard surfaces. You can also avoid lots of starting and stopping to let out more string by waiting until last to trim near such surfaces.Overall, I'm quite pleased with the weed eater because it chops up weeds and tall grass well while still being light enough for a woman without much upper body strength. But, back to the spool itself, I can attest to its value because I've used my Worx as a substitute for a broken lawnmower a few times. I bought new spools that still haven't been opened by using the abovementioned strategy. To avoid frustration, I repeat, go slow when installing a new spool and don't let the string wear down so much it can fall back inside the opening. Also, the three pack I'm referring to here was a good buy.
