I love working out. I have all sorts of equipment, enough that I never really need to go to a gym. I did the gym scene in my 20s, and while it's a great place to go meet people gyms are annoying for many other reasons, not the least of which is it's a lot more difficult to motivate myself to go to the gym than to my bedroom. I've been collecting gear for years, and I'm always looking for new tools or upgrades. I haven't had wrist wraps in a while, so when I saw this listing I decided to try them. These are fairly nice wrist wraps! Using this is pretty easy, just put your thumb through the little loop and wrap the band around your wrist. Once on, the straps are very rigid and hold your wrist very straight.I don't like to use these a whole lot, if you brace your wrist too much you won't build the strength needed to support heavy weight. However, on days when I'm trying to do a lot of weight, or for failure sets, or for a few other reasons, it's very useful to have these. Being able to take a weak link out of a lift can allow you to push yourself to a higher level for a few sets, which can then let you lift more weight normally without the wraps. They're a tool, you just don't want to use it all of the time.Overall I'm pretty happy with these straps. They stabilize my wrist well and will allow me to put up more lifts in my near-max range.
