I'm not a real happy camper. The fender eliminating bracket and the dirt shield that goes with it fit nice look nice and seem to be built pretty well. However, the tail light is dangerously dim. Like, you'll definitely get rear-ended. I've seen imported bicycles with a more visible tail light. There's no way this thing will pass an inspection in any state that has a safety inspection that's for sure. I was very disappointed with this, I emailed customer service to see if they could help me out with it. But before that even happened, less than 4 hours after installing this assembly, the license plate light stopped working. I took the lens off of the light to have a look and found that the license plate light actually stripped from the board and pulled the traces with it. Absolute cheap garbage of a tail light. This was on a CRF250 driven on the road. Definitely would not recommend. I will be looking into a refund

As the headline says, the metal portion is fine. It is not super thick but it will do the job just fine. Where this fails miserably is the light. Not only is it REALLY dim but it is a flimsy and thin piece of junk. The stock tail/brake light is much brighter. I ended up cutting the metal apart and using it with my stock tail/brake light assembly and put in an LED bulb. It is super bright. You get what you pay for but I would say that 95% of the cost of this goes toward the metal.

I actually installed this on my RPS hawk 250 very little modification was needed and it lines up perfectly once you drill the holes into this new bracket. It’s very tough as well seems like it can take a beating

Purchased this fender eliminator for a 2020 Honda CRF250L. This unit is great if you want to retain the OEM turn signals, which I wanted. All the other fender eliminators cost upwards of $90+. The kit includes the tail light, license plate light and has openings for the OEM turn signals or LED blinkers (not included). It is pretty easy to install. Biggest thing was getting the turn signal grommets into the openings (make sure you use the oval washers that are included). The other thing you need to do is wire your new tail light. I cut the plug off the old tail light and soldered the wires for a clean connection. Overall for less than $45, it was worth it. We will see how long the LED tail and license plate lights work. Only time will tell.

I received my initial order on Jan 5th, 2021 and it did not come with connectors or mudguard. Using Amazon's contact seller option, I received a reply quickly to ship the parts to me. I received the connectors, but the wrong part for the mudguard. Contacted the seller again, and they immediately shipped out the right part which I received today, the 15th. Installation was easy if you can turn a wrench. I'm very happy with the product. Looks and works great and the mudguard really makes all the difference. I can't speak more highly of their customer service. So polite and responsive and solved the issues quickly. If you need to contact them, use the "contact seller" Amazon feature. This is what they mean by email.

The bracket is very sturdy and well made, but there is no bottom cover. It leaves a big gap for mud and water to get under your rear fender.There is also no gasket or seal around the tail light, so I can't imagine it lasting very long or at least not getting condensation in there.I've included a picture for the wiring on my 2015, since there are no instructions. There is a diagram on the Amazon page for which wires go where, but it's not accurate for my 2015.I returned this because of the gap left where the stock rear fender mounts.

Overall great bang for the buck, easy installation- be careful on wiring this though. the yellow wires go to the orange and blue connectors off the factory blinker leads, the green wires with white connectors are the power lead for each blinker's black wire. The kits tail light leads are a little confusing, I forget which are which right now but I do remember the green wire ground on the new tail light and I think the black wire on the factory harness is the ground. I'm not sure what other resistors work for the signals but for me the gold anodized colored 50w 6ohm load resistors you'll find in multiple brands here on amazon worked perfect for me. GLHF
