I've been testing out the AM15X dynamic microphone for a few weeks, primarily for podcasting and some occasional streaming, and it's a pretty solid piece of kit for the price.The dual XLR/USB connectivity is a huge plus. I started off using USB straight into my PC, which was super easy to set up – plug and play, no drivers needed. The sound quality over USB is surprisingly good, clear and crisp. Later, I switched to XLR with my audio interface, and that's where it really shines, giving a bit more warmth and control over the sound. It's great to have both options.It comes with a desktop mic stand, which is decent enough to get you started. It's stable and holds the mic well, though if you're serious about recording, you might eventually want to upgrade to a boom arm for better positioning.For podcasting and streaming, it does a good job of isolating my voice and reducing background noise, which is what you want from a dynamic mic. My voice comes through clearly without picking up too much keyboard clatter or room echo. I haven't used it for serious music recording in a studio setting, but for voice applications like gaming commentary, voiceovers, and general recording, it feels robust and reliable.Overall, if you're looking for a versatile microphone that won't break the bank and gives you both USB convenience and the option for XLR quality, the AM15X is definitely worth considering. It's a good step up from basic headset mics.

Is this mic perfect? No, but for what it is, it's amazing. On camera and in-person, it looks very professional and impressive, it also feels pretty solid overall. It sounds perfect in USB and XLR, and the AI noise suppression is outstanding; and personally I've had no issues with plosives or sibilance. Only issue I have with the mic is the handling noise can be a bit much but for this price, that's more than an acceptable compromise.

The way mute works on this device makes it hard to recommend, you have to turn the volume down to zero.

Nach lagem Testen komme ich nun zu meiner Rezension.Das Mikrofon ist als Haupteinsatzzweck für die PS4 und 5 gedacht, weil die Mikrofone der Headsets oft einfach durchschnittlich sind.Also waren wir auf der Suche nach einer Alternative, die man auch mal für andere Dinge nutzen kann wie Tonspur für Vidoes ohne das grauenvolle Smartphone nutzen zu müssen.Fazit: Erfüllt beides sehr gut. Der Ton im Vergleich zum Smartphone ist 1000 Mal besser und auch ander Konsole sagen alle Mitspieler, dass der Ton viel angehmer ist.Einzig eine vernünftige Anleitung mit Schritt für Schritt Anleitung und Problemlösung wäre super (dafür ein Stern Abzug). Das Mirkofon selber ist einen Preis absolut Wert. Nichts High-End aber ein solies Einsteigermikrofon.

I could not get this mic to work with my MacBook. I tried every recommendation online. I reached out to the company and got no response. I requested to join the company’s Facebook group and got no response. I’ve ended up returning the product (and the timeframe for refunding me is also ridiculous). DONT BUY THIS MICROPHONE!

Microfono adatto a chi deve collegarlo tramite usb al PC, volume controllabile con la rotella sopra e anche la riduzione del rumore.Se si usa l'xlr tramite scheda audio esterna l'uscita del microfono è molto bassa

Ich habe als Tester das Produkt gratis zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen, vielen Dank für diese Möglichkeit. Dies beeinflusst meine Objektivität jedoch nicht, und ich finde es auch wichtig, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis zu berücksichtigen. Das Produkt wird ausgiebig und lange getestet, und sollten nachträglich Mängel auftreten, wird die Rezension überarbeitet.Das Mikrofon ist für meinen Sohn, der zockt, natürlich was das Zeug hält und kommuniziert so mit seinen Freunden. Er verwendet es für seinen PC und hat es vor der Tastatur platziert, was ich zwar enorm unpraktisch finde, aber er muss ja damit klarkommen. Das Mikrofon steht sicher und stabil durch den schweren Standfuß. Die Installation verlief problemlos, und das Mikrofon wurde sofort vom PC erkannt und konnte verwendet werden. Das Mikrofon ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet, und man merkt hier wirklich die Qualitätsunterschiede zu günstigen Modellen. Die Kommunikation verläuft störungsfrei und klar und deutlich. Mit der Bedienung und der Stummschaltung sind wir auf Anhieb gut klargekommen. Wir verwenden es auch häufig für Online-Programmierkurse und Teams-Meetings und sind rundum zufrieden. Die Farbe der LED gibt Auskunft über den aktivierten Modus: blau = Ton an, rot = Stummschaltung. Dadurch hat man immer noch einmal eine visuelle Kontrolle, ob man für andere hörbar ist oder nicht. Es kamen noch keine Beschwerden über die Verständlichkeit vom Kommunikationspartner, aber wirklich einschätzen kann ich es von der Seite des Mikrofons natürlich nicht.

For the price it is not a bad microphone, but unfortunately I have been using a rode at home and the difference is a bit noticeable.Great to have both USB and XLR connections and both work well.The form factor and the stand it comes with are also good.You can monitor yourself right from the Mic if desired which is a good feature.Overall a good mic with a few caveats regarding integration on Macs.
