This mask fits and seals extremely well, it's comfortable, and compared with the price of what might be "competing" masks made of silicone rubber I think this one is a reasonable deal. It's silicone rubber, which supposedly has better longevity than ordinary rubber (although I've never had a problem with my older "regular" rubber masks. My issue (concern?) is adjusting, and especially replacing if needed down the line, the strap. I made initial adjustments by tugging on it, since there were no printed instructions on how to do that the "right" way.I know that strap adjustment is straightforward (usually intuitive), but I really had to tug HARD on the strap to get it to move. That may not be a problem if you adjust the mask and don't change it often, but still I think there's still a real risk of the strap breaking, making the mask useless.I contacted both the manufacturer and the seller; they both responded, and said the same thing: "pull up on the tab" (see attached photo; I sent a version to the seller and manufacturer to see what they said) to adjust or if necessary replace the strap. It's supposedly not a proprietary strap, so any replacement strap with the same width should work.My concern is that pulling up on that tab takes a LOT of effort, and it barely moves. I worried that pulling it up with too much force, in order to get the strap to open things up enough to let the strap slide through), might break the tab. The tab just doesn't move much at all to make adjustments easier, and I can't imagine that you can open things up enough to get a new strap in.Were it not for the issue with strap adjustment I'd give this product 5 stars. But given my concerns, I knocked the rating down to 4, and maybe even a 3 would be appropriate.

I went to a few scuba shops around and their inventory did not have what I was looking for. I easily ordered this mask, received it in a timely manner and have used it many times. Perfect quality, color and fit.

I liked this mask at first, however after going further down it became very uncomfortable and hurt under my nose. I had to pull the nose portion off of my face to get relief and now have a sore under-nose… it was also hard to pinch and clear ears due to the rubber being more tough. I wish this would’ve worked for me but unfortunately it didn’t :(

I don’t recommend purchasing this product. The clasp that holds the strap to tighten the mask around the head broke on day one. Best not to buy this item it’s junk. Unfortunately the return date has passed.

This was my third mask I bought when I was preparing for scuba certification. I'd tried to save money by going cheap, which I learned - the hard way - was a bad idea. I bought this one right before the first ocean dive & didn't have a chance to test it... kind of a risky move. But it didn't let me down! It's comfortable; didn't give me a headache like the other two had, didn't leak, and have me a great 170° view. Being my 1st three dives, I was nervous, but this mask helped me stay calm & confident by allowing me to see without hindrance & feel safe from drowning by keeping a comfortable & secure deal. The purge aspect is a bonus - helping with equalization & to get excess water out of my hair got caught under the seal.I definitely recommend this mask as a great deal on a quality product!

Took this on a diving trip. Will never buy another type of mask. No water gets in but it really helped my air consumption because I didn't have to breathe out through my mouth. Also with contacts it helped to insure if any leaking did happen it could easily be dissipated.

This is not a mask for large-nosed people as we were led to believe in the reviews. Thankfully we purchased another mask. Instead it was fine for my use instead of husband. No leaks. I used the purge valve, but not sure if I was doing correctly. Valve did start to hurt under my nose but only after being in water for a few hours in waves. We tried all the tricks we read about- toothpaste upon receiving mask, washing with soap and using brand "Spit" for fogging. We had tons of fogging problems across 3 different brands of masks. Only thing that really worked for the hours we snorkelled without fogging was a trip into the beachhouse bathroom for liquid soap and rinse immediately before putting mask on. No trouble fogging after that. Would recommend this mask.

My husband and I have the standard XS Scuba masks and love them - when buying for my parent's I went with the purge masks because they've always had issues keeping their masks clear of water. They just got back from their trip and my dad said this was the first time he has ever snorkeled where he had a great time and didn't have to fight the water out of his mask - he now wants to get scuba certified!
