These small tools are perfect for fiddly projects such as jewellery making, aluminum chain-mail, miniature doll houses etc.More than strong enough for standard jewellery wires and aluminum chain-mail jump rings. Spring loaded handles so they always default to open are always great on small projects. I find the smooth handles make my fingers less prone to blisters over the textured handles of my shop tools.Steel chain-mail jump rings; they worked ok but I found the handles dug into my hands with the amount of torque you have to apply so standard shop tools work better for those.I have women's size medium hands and I find these a good size. My adult son also does chain-mail and he finds these a little on the small side for him.
