I love the colors and that the front and back are both plastic. The pages are thick, thicker than the average store bought. The heading on the pages all have an easy to date outline. (It should help my daughter remember to date her notes.) I think it’s awesome that labels are available for what period she has her class. I think it’s a great buy, especially for my daughter who needs a little more help being organized.

I probably won't use the section/tabbing of these notebooks much, but they're really good quality. The spiral bound is thick and doesn't twist up, allowing easy use of both sides of page. The included stickers, I THINK, are supposed to be used as tabs to correspond to the sections outlined on the cover. I gave this a try and didn't line it up that well but i think it does the job for someone who wants to have a multi section notebook.I am a person who still likes to take notes by hand or write out my ideas so I can think more deeply about them than if I'm staring at a screen (i'm easily distracted by the screen). The front and back covers are plastic so they hold up well in my backpack and I prefer the A5 size for the combination of having plenty of writing surface while still being portable.

Bottom line up front is that these are four nice notebooks at a great price.The paper is nice and will stand up to highlighting, pencil, and ball point pens. heavy marker will bleed through, though. The covers are solid and I really like the cut-outs that let you divide the booklet into different sections and then see at a glance what is in each section. They also include a few tab markers, but you'll need more for all four booklets. The ring binding is good, and the covers and pages move smoothly, and of course, the notebooks will lay flat.I had one notebook that had some interior page denting, clearly from manufacturing or assembly since there was no damage to either cover, but it was purely cosmetic. Other than that, I have no notes for these notebooks and highly recommend them.
