This cushion is comfortable but it is quite thin. For any bigger bodied person, it goes pretty flat. The backing is decent with grips that hold it in place but I don’t feel that it offers a ton of support for your back. Overall, I am not super impressed with this cushion.

I have an ergonomic office chair that I invested a lot of money into...little did I know that this cushion would make it even better. Now, normally I'm not a fan of cushions, as they tend to slip and slide around or not fit you quite right. That being said, this cushion is something special. On the bottom side of it, there is a grippy texture that prevents it from sliding. On top of that, the leather exterior combined with the memory foam interior adds a nice soft and plush feel while also contouring to and supporting your body. If I had to find one flaw with it, it might be just a tad small for taller folks such as myself, but that being said, this thing is amazing!

I just got this today and am already in love with it. I am full time in a powered wheelchair, so my tushy is in constant rebellion against my seat. The form of this cushion is perfect for me, and my sore spots are getting relief as I write this. While being almost three inches thick, it does compress down a good bit so that I don't feel as though I am sitting too high. The bottom of the cushion has a non-slip surface and the top and sides are leather or at least a leather feel. A zipper allows for cleaning by removing the memory foam insert. I have tried at least five other similar cushions and so far this one seems to work the best.

There are some myths about memory foam that we all seem to fall for. I'll elaborate at the end if you're interested.OVERVIEWThis cushion not especially comfortable in any way. After a few seconds, it compresses to a point at which one might as well not have a cushion at all. A couple things happen after as few as 5 minutes.▪ The seat becomes very hot. Leather, as it turns out, doesn't breathe very well. I initially tried this on my mesh office chair and was quickly reminded why I have a mesh office chair.▪ The majority of my posterior has completely flattened the center of the cushion while the outer edges remain mostly expanded. The result of this is added pressure at the base of my thighs closed to the knee and eventually the sensation that blood flow is being cut off and my legs fall asleep.PROS▪ It comes in black. Who doesn't like black things?!CONS▪ Hot▪ Uncomfortable if used for extended periodsMITIGATING INFORMATIONFor reference, I'm 5'10" 180lbs. Neither overweight nor scrawny. I exercise regularly but admit that I'm just over 60yrs old. Perhaps someone with different physical statistics might find this to be an excellent seat cushion.I've moved the cushion out to the patio (see attached photo) where guests can try their luck and set it aside if they prefer.ABOUT MEMORY FOAMWhat follows is not the result of scientific research. It's simply my own hypothesis:Somewhere over the last few decades, we've all seen a photo or a video of someone pressing their hand into memory foam and pulling it out to leave a handprint. Immediately, all went, "Oooo! Ahhh! I gotta get me some of that".Unfortunately, none of us stopped to wonder why this was a good thing.Subsequently, the idea that ultimate comfort could be found by lying on a bed or sitting on a cushion that rapidly forms a mold of our contours (like custom fitted packing foam used in cases by collectors to ship fragile what-nots around the world) settled onto our collective psyche. This notion might be true if we were inanimate objects. However, people tend to move and shift. With every movement we make, the magic foam that remembers us has to make a new mold for us and 'forget' the previous one.I'm just not convinced this is the best option. Especially after sleeping for the last 15 years on a mattress (named after the color of the materials used) that employs a very differ method of support.
