This works great, and I love the easy to read digital display of the numbers for the scores. It comes with a built in timer, of course. The brightness of the LED display is perfect. Having a remote to make adjustments is very handy and saves time.

When I first ordered this scoreboard, I was quite alarmed by the existing reviews which all claimed critical failures were abound. I am not sure if they were reviewing a different board, because my experience was nothing like I initially read. The build quality is solid, with an aluminium housing that feels durable enough for both indoor and outdoor use. The LED display is impressively bright and easily visible from significant distances, which is crucial for its intended purpose. I found the functionality comprehensive - offering time tracking, scoring, period counting, possession indicators, fouls tracking and timeout management. The remote control is responsive with good range (tested successfully up to about 90 feet), making operation straightforward during games.However, there are some significant oversights in the design. The power system is particularly problematic - while it's advertised as battery-powered and rechargeable, the unit arrives without batteries and provides unclear documentation about power management. The included USB-C cable is impractically short at roughly 2-3 feet, limiting placement options when running on external power.The mounting situation is also poorly thought out. Despite being advertised with tripod compatibility, the mounting hardware comes with no instructions and appears to be a somewhat random assortment of parts. The lack of clear mounting guidelines or a proper mounting system is a serious oversight for a device of this size and intended use case.During testing, I noticed the buzzer volume, while adequate for small venues, might not be sufficient for larger spaces or outdoor use with significant ambient noise. The control interface, while functional, requires some time to master as certain operations aren't particularly intuitive.On the positive side, the 5-level brightness adjustment is genuinely useful for different lighting conditions, and the scoreboard's actual performance during games (when properly powered and mounted) is reliable. The display is clear and easy to read, and the various game management functions work as intended.For recreational leagues or practice facilities, this scoreboard could serve adequately if you're willing to work around its shortcomings. However, for the price point, I expected better documentation, a more complete mounting solution, and a more thoroughly thought-out power system.My final score: 4/5

.Convenience of battery power and portability is the main value for me.Unfortunately, there are no comprehensive instructions. I find the manufacturer assumes the purchaser would be already experienced with the operation of a scoreboard.It looks and functions like a big stadium setup, but compact.Expect to spend a little time of bewilderment when first put together.

This scoreboard feels cheaply built from mediocre plastic material. It is true to size according to the pictured dimensions but doesn't come close to the depictions in the example pictures. It requires special batteries that are not included,nor are they common enough to find in your local large Marts of the Wal version. The instructions and controls are complicated. I will say this, they packaged the scoreboard quite well using custom cut foam padding and everything was in place within reason. Overall, I'm just not feelin this one.

This wall mount scoreboard is soooo coool. The lights are bright and colorful. You can use it in the home workout room, man-cave, or kids room. This is size is just big enough for home use.

Opened out of the box. I put batteries in the tabletop controller and handheld controller. The tabletop worked for about 20 seconds and now I can't get it to connect to the scoreboard again. With the handheld you can't turn off the shot clock... so it does me no good for kid's sports. Is there a user manual? Confused and disappointed.

I got this scoreboard for flag football because the flip one we had kept blowing in the wind. I love this thing! If I had to have one complaint, it is that it is hard to see when used outside. That is ok though, we made it work. When we had an issue, I contacted the sellers and they had the solution (Turns out it was my fault lol).
