These are decently made socks, but they don’t seem to offer much actual compression. My father-in-law has been using them for about a week and says he hasn’t noticed much relief while wearing them. They’re still comfortable and well-made, just not as effective as true compression socks.

I have mild arthritis and It just caused more foot pain and reduced my stability, especially when not wearing shoes. because it is gel and not foam, your foot will roll over the gel +/- 1/2 cm on every step, which is not something you get used to nor is it safe on stairs for anyone that has any trouble with stability. it also feels sticky, because gel is not breathable and there is no buffer between your foot and the gel pad.Additionally, the gel pad is at the ball of your foot only, so it is the opposite of arch support, and changes the angle at which your foot rests on the floor. The only possible application I can see for these might be high heels...Fortunately, you can peel off the gel pad easily (which makes me question how long it would stay put through the laundry). The compression socks themselves are perfectly fine, mild/light compression, and I will continue to wear them (without the gel pad), but there is no reason to pay for the gel pads.

Perfect for those with arthritis! I love the way it compresses and gives me stability while I'm at work. Plus. the color is fun instead of the boring medical colors they usually have!! Overall, perfect pair for those with disabilities!

I ordered the "wide width" version because I have wide calves, about 14 inches. The wide width version is supposed to be 14-16 inches in the small. My feet are between 7.5 and 8, but I went with the small, which ends with 7.5 at the largest. These stockings don't appear to be any larger in the calves than other stockings I have tried. There is an odd sort of gel padding in the toes that feels clammy and unpleasant.

I work full time from home, sitting in front of 3 computer monitors, sometimes 6 days a week for long hours. It is really taking a toll on my body and the doctor suggested I get some compression socks to help prevent the swelling in my feet and ankles that is there everyday when I get to walk away from the computer. These socks are very comfortable and they offer the perfect compression for me to help prevent the swelling. I am 5' 4" and weigh about 125 lbs. The small size is a perfect fit. The added cooling cushion at the bottom of my feet wa a really nice feature, thank you!

The gel pads on the ball of the foot did not work for me. They were uncomfortable and caused the sock to twist around on my foot whether I was doing light chores or going for a walk. After going for a walk in these socks, I had to take them off. I decided to see if I could peel off the gel pad. It came off quite easily, so now I still have a pair of cute, usable socks with light compression.

I am a vine reviewer, I will give you the facts... the good, AND the bad, no hype. (The kind of review I would find helpful when shopping.) So you can make your own purchasing decisions. These socks have some good points. Breathable cotton blend, and nice, padded cushioning in the balls of the feet, nice thicker weight for colder weather than the thinner nylon types of compression socks. The graphite color looks a bit lighter in person than what the photo shows... more like an elephant gray. These are nice, comfortable socks, but they fall short as to firm compression. If a smaller size was tried, they would be more difficult to put on.

I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, which caused secondary Raynauds phenomenon, metatarsalphalangeal joint osteoarthritis, and vascular dysautonomia. Sounds like a hot mess right? It's actually quite common for people with EDS. Anyway, I need to wear knee-high compression socks to keep my feet warm and my blood flowing. When I saw these socks, I just had to try them out! I was not disappointed. They are super cute, but more importantly very functional! They have a wonderful compression, it's not tight or overbearing. I have a 14 inch muscular calf so I went with the medium wide in size 9. These socks are very breathable because they are 95% cotton. The metatarsal pad is really nice when you're walking on it and they have extra material which provides extra padding in the bottom of the foot and 2 inches up the Achilles tendon, which really keeps my feet warm and the blood flowing. Anything that can take my 87° toes into 93°F is definitely worth my money! They come in three colors so I am going to go ahead and grab the other two colors because who says that health needs to get in the way of adorable fashion? Not me, I love these. I've been wearing them all day since they arrived and they have quickly become one of my favorite have to have, health accessories!
