In ancient times, when danger lurked around every corner, brave heroes defended the land with the Zartz suction cup arrow. The Legends Bow shoots zonic arrows over 125 feet and sticks your foes with the Zartz suction cup arrow, it will stick to almost anything, allowing you to perfect your aim and perhaps become a legendary hero yourself one day! The bow is designed with safety in mind, limiting the possible projectile choices to the foam and suction cup arrows that accompany the bow. If you would like to have extra arrows, this Legends Bow is designed to use with the red arrow refills as well.

the whistling arrow OMG! my 7 year old has to wrestle this from the hands of me and his dad because the whistling arrow that shoots extra-super far makes you feel like you are Robin Hood or something. One star off I guess simply because it doesn't work like other bow and arrows and requires some coordination, but it's works fine.

It's SOOOO fun. My 7 year old received this and a two-pack of another (Zing) bow for Christmas. The darts shoot really far, and the whistling darts whistle. We take this and the others outside and shoot them in our yard all of the time. Sometimes we try and see who can shoot the furthest, other times we shoot at each other (though you obviously have to be careful about how much energy you put into those shots and where you shoot someone - the darts could hurt if you got shot in the face, and they could probably rupture an eye if you got a direct hit). The bow seems durable as do the darts. Of course, there is rubber hosing, and that will likely degrade over time, at which point the bow itself might become useless (I have a two-pack of some bows that I got maybe 6 or 7 years ago, and the rubber became brittle and useless). I'd also say that the bow is pretty accurate.

I purchased this for my son's birthday 3 months ago. He has used is pretty heavily and it is still going strong. I think the double-band design is why. The other bow I thought looked pretty cool only has a single band and several people said it snapped. My son likes the look of this one because it is more realistic.

It's a rare "action toy" that gets an unqualified good rating from me, but this one comes darned close. The "whistling" arrows with the big soft heads are a hoot, the suction cup sticks to the side of my van perfectly and the whole rig has stood up to much long play. My only issue is that I wish it were a bit easier to store the arrows on the bow, rather than carrying them around.Small quibble, though.I know the directions say not to shoot anyone, but my sons have tremendous fun "hunting" me in the back yard. :)

While it was not the "go to " toy we hoped for the Grandsons, it was easy for the 5 year old to use. The 3 year old, who is more patient, gave up more because of lack of interest than lack of skill. Adult range was at most 50 feet instead of the 100 plus feet advertised. Kid range was about 30 feet. Toy was constructed fine and survived the first week after Christmas. The 5 year old had more interest and fun with a youth bow last summer, even though it was much harder to use and could only be use outside.

This is really cool. My 6 year old loves it and so does his 9 year old brother and 6 year old sister. He figured out how to string it really quick. Now if we only lived closer to a park or had a bigger yard - he's lost a bunch of arrows on the roof. LOL! I bought extra Zing arrows. Target is nice, but the suction cup ones stick to any flat surface that isn't too pourous. You could hurt someone if you hit them directly with one of the arrows because the bow is pretty strong, but the points are nerf material so much less dangerous than a real bow.I'm not sure if using it will set up bad habits for real archery in the future.

It works great and he likes it but not sure it I like the little stubby arrows, they can get lost easy, think we are down to one already.
