I travel a lot for work and the last 3 trips I brought these with me and used them daily. The poses are spread across the dice so that you get a good full body routine with each roll. The amount of variations keeps it interesting and it is a good way to start the day whether at home or in a hotel room. Plus, the actual dice are a good size, about an inch across, making them easy to see while you progress through the workout. If I happen to lose these, I'll definitely purchase another set.

These are incredibly cool and very clever. They're like big dice with a yoga pose on each side of the dice. Forty eight poses in all. You roll the dice and there is your sequence. It certainly relieves boredom that can come from doing the same class, video, or sequence every day. There is an instruction booklet that comes with it that explains how to use it and how to do the poses if you're not familiar. I took some time off practicing yoga and these have me excited to continue the practice I recently restarted. There are endless variations possible and these add a bit of variety, which I'm told is the spice of life. Totally recommend. I only wish I had thought of this. Bravo to whoever did, well done! We have some kid-focused yoga dice which are larger foam blocks. We really love doing that before bed, so I thought I might get this kit as it has more stretches and poses. These are wooden dice with black outlines of a person doing the pose. The dice are a little small for my preference. They are maybe the size of a ping-pong ball. It's easy to store. But when you roll, you have to be right next to them to see the pose it's showing. There also so many, that you pretty much need to pick up the dice each time because the drawings are difficult to distinguish from a distance.I did appreciate they give you a little manual which explains each pose. Some I would not have been able to do from just the picture because it's confusing. While it's nice there are 8 dice with lots of poses, some are just a little complicated to illustrate in a one inch space. The box is nice and will store everything. For kids, I prefer the bigger foam blocks with easier to see poses. This might be better for adults - but be sure to have some reading glasses and to spend some time deciphering the pose the first few times.

I'm a Yoga Instructor, and I'm always looking for ways to inspire my students to practice at home. I thought this Yoga dice set might be good inspiration. The little 50-page booklet that comes with the set is actually not bad -- the instructions are clear. But, here's the problem -- you can't just roll a handful of dice and then, as the instructions suggest, do "in any order that you choose." That's a recipe for injury. I've rolled the dice to try it out and more times than not, I end up with a mish-mash of poses that aren't meant to be done together or are poses meant only be to be done after a thorough warmup. There is a natural progression in a Yoga practice -- from warm ups, to peak poses, to relaxation. Poses are done in a specific order to avoid injury. I think these dice could be improved -- with color coding that would indicate which poses to do first, which are Level 2, etc. This is a cute idea, but I wouldn't recommend it as practice tool.

I'm just starting to get into yoga and this seems like an easy and fun way to add some variety to the workout. The dice seem fairly sturdy and would travel very easily if you were taking them on a trip.

These are a really great tool for getting the kids engaged in yoga. We make a game out of it and see who can do all positions and hold for 3 seconds and usually it ends up with a lot of laughs (we are beginners). Poses are all doable although some are tougher than others. The wood is smooth and the ink is legible and has not faded.
