This extra button on the cord is great for changing the temperature. Most heaters are 1 setting and it's nice to be able to change the temperature. Only thing missing is a fan to move the water.

Bought this for a 75gal tank I turned into a paludarium. Hooked it up on Nov 25th, set it at 80* and as of today Dec 4th it is stuck thinking the water temp is 99* in the tank and not putting out heat. I'm running about 25gals of water currently and have to find another small heater now. So disappointed as I liked the concept of this heater.

Appeared to have some residue on coil. Cannot increase temperature. Light comes on indicating an increase in temperature; however the item does not heat up.

Works great for low water tanks and don’t have to worry about it burning out if the water gets too low or any glass breaking

I purchased two of them in Feb 2021 for my turtle tank and they were working fine. But they recently stopped working, one about a month ago and the other just now.
