10 Lemongrass Stalks Ready to Plant, Mosquito Repellent, Citronella. They are fast growers. When the leaves grow tall, you can cut them to use for cooking or making tea. They will sprout again from where you cut the stalks. Steps in Rooting Lemongrass Stalks in Water: 1. Place the stalks in a jar or vase with about 2 inches of water for about 1 week. 2. Keep in a warm place or in a sunny location like a south facing windowsill. 3. Change water every 2 days or when the water gets cloudy. 4. They will start to sprout new leaves and the roots will start to grow. 5. Plant the whole stalk at least 2 to 3 inches deep. Whe they grow taller, you can cut the stalks leaving at least 5 inches above the ground. They will sprout new leaves from where you cut them.

Plants came well packaged. I planted them within the first 4-5 days after I received them and every one took and has been growing great! I’m impressed!I would highly recommend. To buy these plants individually at the garden center you will pay so much more.

I have had them in my greenhouse for 2 weeks now and no growth. Don’t waist your money on these duds.

Very well packaged. Even the post office couldn't mess this order up.It has 11 and a baby inside. I put them straight in a bowl of water because they don't have as good a root system as the picture. And I don't have a place to plant them.I was worried the temperatures during transit would hurt them, but they managed the trip fine. Now to see if I can give them a good home.
