I really hate bungee cords. And ratchets are super irritating to me. I liked the idea of this but wasnt sure. Well I am surprised but happy. These bungees are pretty powerful in that it takes a lot of force to stretch them and they will go about 50% of their length when stretched.They are pretty easy to adjust though and stay that way which is really impressive. Here is a close up of the mechanism.I am a bit bummed that the carabiner is just plastic and they don't lock which would hugely increase their strength. But, that would drive up the cost and require metal ones which could scratch up your belongings.I do think these will hold up well however and I really like the adjustable component. You might consider buying a big pack of metal carabiners and replace the plastic ones with them if you are using when you need a lot of strength. Or you might just use zip ties to attach to the vehicle or anchor points instead of the carabiner.

What guy doesn't need more bungee cords?When I saw these I had to check them out. These are not your typical elastic cordage bungees. They are su substantially thicker, but on top of that they are adjustable. Yes you read that right. You can adjust the length of the bungee cord to suit your needs. Even better, it uses a nice carabiner as anchors instead of some cheap plastic hook.They have great elasticity and are actually pretty stout. Did I mention adjustable?I'm loving these things and want some more.

I like the adjustability for length of these straps which makes them much more versatile than fixed length bungees. Also, the carabiner connections on the ends, though light weight, are more secure than the typical hooks. Depending on what you're looking for, these may not stretch as much as you'd like, but they are strong at 180# break strength. They feel like they have "stretch" that will last and not become useless after a year or two.

First off, these bungees are stiffer than most others. They stretch well but take more force than you might expect. Reserve these for things you want held down firmly. They're probably too stiff for tarp grommets.The carabiner ends feel a little plasticky, but are still better than the hooks on most bungee cords.The adjustment mechanism takes a good hard yank to engage, but does work and seems to hold the cord securely. Both ends are adjustable.The price is quite reasonable given the carabiner ends, adjustable length, and overall quality.

Bungee cords are extremely well made, their adjustable locking feature allows for better stability and security. They’re very easy to expand and adjust into the best possible secured position.I especially like the lapsing hook ends, they are far more able to latch securely than other standard open hooks. I was able to temporarily attach several to the bed of my truck and even create a cross section to hold down larger bulky items.I am very happy with the easy adjustment of their length, their design, materials, durability and overall multi useful purposes.5-Stars ⭐️

As shipped, these cables are about 46 inches long, although you can easily get an extra two inches by adjusting the cable. You can also make the cable a lot shorter through cable adjustment. The seller claims 10" to 48", but you can go even smaller than that if you really need to.Adjusting the cable length is a bit of a pain, mostly in the Step 3, "Pull the cord down with some strength", phase. Getting the cable to lock back into the slot does indeed take "some strength". Steps 1 and 2, pulling the cord out of the slot and adjusting the length were pretty straightforward. I should add that, yes, it took some effort, but locking the cable to that length is critical, as having the cable slide out of its slot could be catastrophic to whatever you are tying down, so the effort is worth it. On the plus side, once the adjustment is done and the cable is locked back into the slot, it really did feel secure. Whether that will continue to be the case a few years from now is not something I can answer yet.When I stood on one end and stretched the other end, I was able to stretch it to my full height (about 73 inches). The seller claims that the cables can be stretched to as much as 1.7-2.0 times the original length. For the 46-inch length that would be 78-92 inches. The 78 inches is very doable, I think. I also think it would take a lot of effort to stretch it as much as 92 inches.The cable ends are attached to carabiner hooks, which are removable/replaceable if you want to use a hook or a carabiner of your own.The cables felt solid when I was playing around with them, even when stretched out to as full a length as I could easily manage. I don't know how durable they'll be over a longer period but based on the initial testing, I'm pretty comfortable in saying that they can handle any reasonable strain you subject them to. Overall, you're getting a decent value with 10 of these cables. I like that they are adjustable, and that they hold to their adjusted length well, and I like that they felt solid and strong, no matter how much I twisted, stretched, and adjusted them. Recommended.
