Wires in and out of the power converter were not properly insulated. The lack of insulation ultimately lead to the bare copper wires being exposed. One morning I heard a clicking sound and was horrified to see live sparks coming from the adapter. I should have returned on receipt but continued to use it until today. The wire insulation is there for a reason. Poor quality which might result in fire or injury.

Works fine. Haven’t had any issues with it and it charges my iPad fairly quickly. I never review anything but I had to leave my biggest complaint for this thing. For some reason they left this surprisingly bright light on the end of the cable. This would be whatever if it weren’t for the fact that it’s on BOTH sides and there’s no way to turn it off once it’s plugged in. Sure it’s no issue like 90% of the day, but at night it can literally be used as a flashlight. I’m surprised they don’t market this thing as an endoscope. I literally have to shove it under my mattress so it doesn’t light up like 40% of my room. Other than that, it’s a fine, affordable charger. These things are surprisingly expensive and this one is reasonably priced.
