After receiving and using this earlier today, I can't believe I haven't owned a decent ratcheting screwdriver before! I have owned worse versions that had the tighten/loosen settings before, but not that had the same quality feel that you get from a high quality ratcheting socket wrench. This is my new favorite manual screwdriver! I did notice one small manufacturing defect in mine, however. There should be 3 settings. Clock-wise, Neutral, and Counter Clock-Wise.. the clockwise setting can be turned a little bit further than where it initially clicks into it's mode, almost feeling like a very close, 4th setting ... but it doesn't have any effect. Both work the same, but neither has any functional issues. Just something I noticed and why I dinged it down to 4 stars

This is a great new type of screwdriver.It takes the ratchet concept and improves the traditional tool.You still have to turn it by hand, but you don't need to remove and re-seat the tip of the bit with each turn.Sure, electric screwdrivers are game changers in fastener work, but they lack one thing: the feel.You have to hand turn the screw or bolt for the last turn or two to get a true sense of how tight it is, and this gives you that.The grip is really great in the hand too.I keep it in my drill and driver bag for light tasks and that last turn.
