This outdoor water fountain is quite compact, easy to setup, works well and provides some nice looking fountains of water.To setup this fountain all you have to do is attach one or more of the pipes to the top of the pump, put the pump into a body of water that is 3" or deeper and then plug it in. This pump does have 4 suction cups on the bottom that will stick very securely to a smooth surface (I used a Sterilite 23" x 16.25" x 6" 28 quart container to test the pump and it stuck to the bottom of that perfectly).This pump includes a small water control valve that you can put inline between two of the pipes if you want to control how much water flows to the nozzles and I tested it out and it works as expected.I tried out all the different nozzles and I really like the mushroom and fireworks style nozzles. The fireworks nozzle can shoot water up to around 5 feet high and it looks really nice, however you can use the inline water control valve if you would like it lower.The mushroom fountain also looks really nice (just like one you would see at a mall or a park) but it is important to mention the mushroom nozzle is quite delicate and should only be installed or removed while holding it from the sides. The instruction manual didn't mention that, so one time I pushed down on the top of it to affix it to a pipe and some unseen internal piece(s) must have broke because now it no longer produces a clean mushroom shape. So I consider it partially my fault but also partially their fault for not making a stronger nozzle head and not giving users a heads up about how delicate it is; but in any case now you know to be careful with the mushroom nozzle.So anyway, this is why I gave the fountain 4 stars instead of 5 (because the mushroom nozzle broke). None of the other attachments seem terribly robust but I guess they really don't need to be, but I do expect for parts to be strong enough not to break during normal handling (swapping one out for the other).As for noise, this pump really is incredibly quiet. With the pump underwater you really can't hear it at all. The only thing you can hear is the water splashing into the pool of water you put it in. If you can hear it that means you need to add more water to the pool or put it in deeper water. I measured it with a tape measure and 3" is how much water you should have to cover the unit but for my setup I currently have it sitting in 4.5" of water.And I should mention the LED lights do work (subtle during the day and bright at night) and the LED light ring can either be mounted inline with the water pipes or it can be put anywhere else within 13.25" of the base (because that is how long the power cord for the LED lights is). By the way the LED light ring floats, so if it isn't mounted inline with the water pipes and you want it to stay under water you could just put some small rocks around it or partially on top of it, to hold it under water (or if you don't want to see the light you could just have it facing upside down).So the bottom line is this compact outdoor water fountain, is easy to setup, works well, produces some nice looking patterns of water and all while only needing about 3" (or more) of water.

Very simple to set up. Works well and has multiple setting to have different water flow. The light works great. The cord is long. Water pressure is adjustable. Very happy!

I'm still figuring it out, but overall it's a nice little fountain addition to my container pond. The part I'm figuring out is which pieces to uses to get a tight fit on the risers, but even with a loose piece it worked well. What I do wish is that the light wasn't so bright or could be turned off because it's going to keep everything in the pond awake at night...Looks great though
