These are great to have on hand if your power head on your aquarium fails. I just submerge it and run a temporary hose into the filter making sure it goes to the bottom of the filter. Works great.

Before you Buy these: Read my reviewFirst you need to be sure you know what you are using these pumps for. I have two opinions based on what I originally bought these for. I use pumps commercially.I buy many different pumps that I use on my own products and these are not bad but I can only use them on the small bamboo fountains I create and sale. I need pumps that guarantee my customers are happy so I look for certain things.I attached two photos to help you see what I use them on to show what they do and do not work on. The first image of one of my fountains is a little taller and these pumps will not push enough water through for me or my customers to be happy. It a very small trickle on anything above 4 inches. However they do work great on my shorter small bamboo fountains and me and my customers love them.Suction power is ok for very short uses. Durability is pretty good so far. The biggest thing that made me buy this pack of pumps is the value for the money because I definitely can use them on my small fountains and feel confident my customers are happy. You can’t beat the price for this pack. I also buy there 4 pack. Hope this information helps you. Happy Shopping!

They are SMALL and barely make any noise.The adjustable speed controller actually works but I keep it on high.Been pumping for a couple of weeks in Bubbleponics top-drip DWC grow. I used my extra RO push connectors, rigid RO hose with a red sprayer screwed into the end pointed towards the clay people's and 1.5" rockwool cube. Had to drill a small hole almost to the top inside of the basket. The 3 foot hose it comes with works perfect to allow enough room to remove lid. I have it on a timer and only runs for a bit and shuts off when the lights are on. WORKS Great!
