We are learning pickleball and do drills 3 times a week. We purchased about 70 balls and this ball retriever is perfect to pick up the balls. My husband has a stiff back and the ball retriever makes it quick and easy to pick up the loose balls.

It works great. I don’t always have a partner to play with so I have a hopper and 50 balls. I hit them and pick them up with this device. It works great! Saves my back and allows me to hit more balls in the time I have.

If you do Pickelball drills hitting a few balls this really works well and saves your back from reaching down so much, speeding more actually hitting rather Thant picking up balls, great price too...

It's okay in that it does it's job... But would you REALLY carry this thing around with you? It's gigantic when fully assembled and it's hard to disassemble and store when you want stay compact. It's definitely not that portable and it uses a friction fit to keep the pieces together. What this means is that durability in the longterm will be lacking... Did i mention it's gigantic? I did... yeah, it's even hard to fit this in a car trunk.

My husband was skeptical at first but this has changed our pickleball drilling world. Might even buy a second one! You can collect so many balls sooooo much faster and saving your back.

I had a more portable 2-piece version but its design was flawed and the connectors that held the 2-pieces together would break in about a month of use. This one from SELMOR comes in three pieces and are held together with friction. While at first glance it didn't appear to be super sturdy, it works really well and the friction style connectors seem to hold really well. My only complaint so far is that I can't seem to take this apart to make it more mobile. Since I mostly use this at home in my driveway, along with my ball machines, this isn't a big deal for me - but could be for others who want to take it to public courts.
