These are really large bags with a draw string. These would be great for the beach, I got them for my photography tripod and they aren't so great for that purpose. They are to big and doesn't seal well and I don't want sand especially lose sand around my equipment. However, I will continue to use these to hold down items while at the beach. I think they will be good for that purpose. I can recommend them for weights for average items, I would not use them for photography or video weights. I would rather have something with a hook and pile faster at least to help hold the sand in. Maybe I will use rolled pennys in place of sand. We will try a few things.

I ordered these anchor sandbags for when wind is expected. I have a 15 ft umbrella that I will be putting up soon. I don't think they are aesthetically attractive, however, I would rather be safe then sorry. These will be for backup, in the event that wind is predicted in the weather.
