I regularly use a tripod with my telescope and camera for astrophotography. This tripod weight bag is useful for weighing down the tripod to give it greater stability, as well as a place to keep all of my cables (and power strip) off the ground. The bag easily attaches to the tripod legs and the straps shorten to adjust to your tripod size and leg distance. There’s also a clip on the bottom of the bag to attach additional weights to it. I usually keep the legs retracted as much as possible to keep the camera low to the ground to avoid vibrations so I can’t use this but I can see how it would be useful. The description doesn’t mention whether it it UV-resistant, but it does seem to have a coating of some sort and feels sturdy.
